For our 4,000th Tweet, a big Happy Birthday to jazz legend Herbie Hancock, born #OnThisDay in 1940. 📷 In 1963, Herbie used his first royalties to buy his first car, a new Shelby Cobra - CSX 2006 - which he still owns 60 years later. It’s been a fine investment.

The Caddy is great, but this sounds good too - a bit like an 80s F1 V6 to my ear. Better than Porsche and BMW IMO.

Really enjoying the content from @1990sBTCC . Check out their podcast, it’s excellent. It’s really bringing this period back to me, including the joy of spectating at the races - heading down to Brands and the huge crowds. Great days.

#24DaysOfSuperTouring Day 6: In 1998, the #BTCC introduced compulsory pit stops, which meant some drivers would stay out late & earn an extra point for leading a lap of the race. This led to Paul Radisich REALLY irritating Alain Menu at @Oulton_Park.😬🫣
