*NOTICE - SOLAR FLARE ACTIVITY - 03262025* With Solar maximum still holding on throughout 2025, we will take this time to remind everyone that when you hear "Northern Lights" it also means that there's a strong possibility that the ionospheric scintillation that causes the nighttime show, has the possibility to cause issues with GPS devices. Over the last couple hours the @NOAA was reporting a Moderate G2 interference. When we see G3 it generally means issues. Those can be described as the following; -Difficulty achieving and maintaining a fixed or converged position. -Position shifts and jumps can occur. For instance, the guidance line may jump over and then back in short periods of time. These disturbances generally only last a few hours and are not generally seen across our entire region. We will continue to update through the season, so make sure you follow.
