I love prototyping. It’s the most important thing that sets great software above the merely good.
And to that end, here’s a project a couple of us have been hacking away on, and the team is ready to add people in mass to the TestFlight. It’s an open source version of a visual programming environment, similar to Origami or Quartz Composer.
In addition to being able to build anything those two can, it also supports AR, CoreML, and native 3D support. As well as being built in SwiftUI, so it runs on basically any Apple device and is easy to hack on and improve.

Stitch just added a **very** cool idea. Programmatic translation between SwiftUI and nodes. This allows an LLM to do what they’re good at and write code, while programmatically extending their capabilities into something they’re not good at.
In general I see a lot of opportunity in approaches like this. Let AI do what it’s good at, then programmatically translate into something it doesn’t know how to do. It extends an LLM far beyond it’s current capacity.

New chapter: I’ve joined as Founding Product Designer at @visualelectric.
I’m extremely excited to be back in the startup world, working with amazing design-oriented founders, a force of a team, world-class investors, and incredible new tech with unchartered possibilities. Huge shout out to @adammenges, @colindunn, @liamtlacey, @soleio, and the whole team at VE for ushering me in.
For a long time I’ve been obsessing over design (of course), but also AI, emerging startups, and what comes next in this era of change. What comes next for creatives and designers?
We’re exploring the edge of what AI can unlock, inventing new patterns, workflows, and interfaces as we go.
