@EzeqMonti and I are delighted to announce the 2025-26 Legal Philosophy Trident Seminar Series Line-up & Schedule. More info and details 👇
I have a new draft paper up: “Appeal vs Judicial Review: Myths and Surprises”. papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…. The orthodoxy in English public law is that appeal is more extensive or broader than judicial review. I argue that this gets things backwards.
What actually separates review and appeal? Mainly origins, procedure, the possibility of rehearing on appeal, and remedies. But substantively there is not much difference.
Again, draft available here: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.… I would really appreciate email comments or criticisms, no matter how small.
