People without chronic illnesses really don't get just how bad many doctors are at their jobs.
My surgeon gave me this cool compression boot to help with the nerve pain and obv wish i didn’t need it but its pretty awesome.
The blue button is a hand pump that fills the inside compartments with air.
Thankful for any relief i can get🙏🙌
Im home from the hospital. Not doing great and still cant really keep food down but happy to be home in my own bed and haven’t had any more seizures.
I dont feel particularly positive atm but I’m trying to at least be thankful for relief, even if its small and or brief.
My best friend runs a card shop but never has time to open stuff so il be opening like 1000 packs of Yugioh cards tonight on his behalf lol and i cant wait.
Young me would be doing backflips rn👾
I hear you, ive been on crutches for the better part of a year already and im just gettin started on surgery. I hope that you somehow continue to improve and im sorry you relate. Im numb externally, burning/ electric shocks internally. I yearn for just numbness atp lol

FWIW…I went from a wheel chair to a walker to a cane and unfortunately stuck with a cane, so far for the rest of my life due to the loss of feeling/numbness in half of my foot.
I literally did have my skin pulled back and had the entire fascia layer rolled up like a fruit rollup and cut out from my foot so the muscle sits directly on raw nerves now. Its hell. Im sorry you relate

sounds like peripheral neuropathy? Had it for 6 months and its actual torture. Stuck in bed, every nerve in your feet feel like they are lit on fire no exaggeration. It feels like someone peeled your skin back and poured boiling water on your feet. Morphine helps for maybe 30s
I dont think your avg person understands what fascia even is let alone what its like to walk on nerves without it.
Im on disability and state insurance. Im certainly not doing great but no need for crowdfunding but thank you.
I go back to see my surgeon in about a week to talk more about it/go over options and get stitches out but Thats the general consensus so far. Il know more in a week or so and will go from there.
Im sorry you relate, wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

You probably have CRPS. Check my pinned. I got it after a surgery as well. Now I have 2 implants that try to replicate the damaged nerves.
Cant believe i have to say this but dozens of scammers are launching meme coins pretending to be raising money for me, one even posted fake convos between us as if i agreed.
Anyone pretending to raise money on my behalf is a scammer.
People are shameless.
Worst case scenario confirmed, i have permanent nerve damage and it may be a very long time before i can walk again if i do at all. The pain is beyond words. Its like being burned, cut, and electrocuted at the same time and i cant even move my toes. I feel incredibly defeated.
to clear up what seems to be a lot of confusion, i had 4 benign tumors removed total from my foot, Cut heel to toe & have had all the fascia in my foot removed so my foot muscle sits right on nerves now & have nerve damage & more tumors still to remove from other parts of my body
