Sanjay Ray, the husband of a certain Priya Ray, has been boasting to several people in Australia, that the monthly rent he receives for a 9000 square foot property in GK1 is 9 lakhs per month. So the initial ballpark estimates, it turns out were true.

Dhruv Rathee is back in Germany. Do you know why he left so suddenly? In 2018, he made a video claiming that a private social media user, Vikas Pandey, had offered a Rs 50 lakh bribe to a man named Mahaveer Prasad Khileri to make him speak against Rathee. The video was then retweeted by Arvind Kejriwal. Following this, Vikas and his family faced abuse, harassment, and threats from Rathee and AAP supporters. He took legal action against both Kejriwal and Rathee for defamation. The video was so baseless and unfounded that despite being represented by top lawyers like Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Kejriwal had to admit his mistake and apologize in the Supreme Court. While proceedings against Kejriwal were dropped following his apology, the criminal defamation case against the video's creator, Dhruv Rathee, continued. The courts kept issuing summonses and notices to Rathee in connection with the ongoing trial, but sitting abroad, he did not bother to respond. He came to India recently to join the CJP's regime-change protests. Two days ago, Vikas Pandey's legal team tracked him to his residence in Sector 56, Gurugram. After Rathee refused to take phone calls or accept the documents directly, the lawyers pasted the summons outside his Gurugram home with the help of the society's security guards. Realizing that he could be arrested in this case for repeatedly ignoring summonses over the last eight years, he chickened out and left India in a hurry. So much for his respect for the law and the judicial process!

LONGish POST WARNING The protests suffer not just from weak topics, but bizarre schizophrenic messaging shifts They started with SIR. You knew the battle was lost when you had to start clarifying everything & got bogged down in micro-detail. Clearly that wasn’t gaining traction so now it’s moved onto “right to wave the flag” Leave aside the lack of messaging discipline, this is tactical suicide. You’re attacking the BJP on its strongest USP. You never attack the enemy where he’s strongest - the flag & nationalism. The BJP was just waiting for the message to shift - possibly with a cabinet reshuffle. But then the CJP & INC themselves shifted it - first to police “brutality” & then to the flag. Godsend for the BJP To win elections, you have to shift parts of the right to your side. SIR as a topic was never going to shift RW votes. Police “brutality” was never going to shift RW votes. And now after decrying nationalism for 12 years, you think you’re going out-nationalism the BJP? Keep dreaming. The best part is these 3 clowns & Rahul don’t even realise that they’ve lost collective messaging discipline- buoyed as they are by support from foreign celebrities & the foreign press. Worse still when you wrap yourself in the flag, your own fellow travellers are the ones • calling for a coup • calling for regime change • celebrating a violent Islamist regime change of a friendly neighbour This isn’t a protest. This is a collective clown-show. You’ve shifted the narrative, You’ve lost the momentum, You’ve fumbled yourself onto a battlefield of your enemy’s choosing. Heck you’ve lost the whole goddam plot.

I dont get it. Even in your world, your own politicians scammed you. They pit Indian workers against you, to keep wages low in your economy. The H1B is an American scam, not an Indian scam. Your politicians, the same guys who engaged in pedophilia on the island, who go to war 10 times a year with random nations, the same politicians who cannot decide if they want to resist Russia-China or kowtow to them, created the H1B program, that you so dearly hate, to negotiate you out of your own labour market. And you hate Indians?? For legitimately trying to find employment and live a life in another country? The fact that a large part of Americans remain so (obviously) programmable, year after year, by manufactured political battles and now botfarms is astounding to me. 5 years ago it was trans toilet. 2 years ago it was the jews. Today its indians. Like clockwork. Americans are trying to fill a god shaped hole in their heart with politics, and they just dont see it.
I’m guilty of my fair share of spreading Indian hate but this should be condemned At the same time we shouldn’t have to give up our country because some psycho plotted a mass shooting

🧵THREAD | PART 2 Human Online journalist Garima Singh has been receiving praise for her coverage of the Delhi protests.

Hello @GoI_MeitY @PIB_India, does the Indian government allow Pakistani news channels to operate in India? Journalists associated with @/HumanOnlineNews are reportedly roaming around protest sites in Delhi and shaping narratives about India. More concerning is that the platform’s social media handles are operated from Pakistan. Requesting the authorities to investigate the page’s ownership, operational base, and compliance with Indian laws. If these claims are verified, appropriate action should be taken. National security and transparency cannot be overlooked.

A rant on “demand to remove Gyanesh Kumar”. Let us begin with one elementary question for everyone demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation: WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU? The PM? The Union Cabinet? The HM? None of them can simply order the Chief Election Commissioner to vacate his office. The CEC is not a government employee who can be dismissed because a political party has taken its grievances to the streets. Article 324(5) of the Constitution protects the CEC against arbitrary removal. His removal must follow the same procedure and grounds applicable to a Supreme Court judge. Here is how the process actually works: A) Initiate a parliamentary motion. At least 100 Lok Sabha MPs or 50 Rajya Sabha MPs must sign a removal motion. B) Secure admission. The Speaker or Chairman decides whether to admit the motion. C) Investigate the charges. If admitted, a three-member committee examines the allegations under the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968. D) Secure a special majority. Both Houses must pass the motion by a majority of their total membership and a two-thirds majority of members present and voting. E) Obtain the President’s removal order. Only after the constitutionally prescribed parliamentary process has been completed can the President formally remove the CEC. Alternatively, Gyanesh Kumar can voluntarily resign by submitting his resignation to the President. Now, tell me: what exactly is a street protest supposed to achieve if the demand is that the government simply sack him? If you believe there are grounds for his removal, follow the constitutional procedure. Convince MPs. Present evidence. Build the case. Secure the required majorities. That is how a constitutional democracy works. And the most astonishing part? It is not merely political activists who appear to be missing this elementary distinction. Even journalists, whose job is to inform citizens and hold institutions to account, are amplifying the spectacle without adequately explaining the constitutional process involved. Journalism is not stenography for political slogans. Before broadcasting demands, perhaps journalists should explain who possesses the legal authority to act on them. Before lecturing the country on constitutional morality, they should establish what the Constitution actually says. If these protesters are genuinely participating without being paid, and they do not even understand the constitutional procedure governing the office they want to challenge, then they are being spectacularly foolish. How do you claim to defend a Constitution you have not bothered to understand? And if political parties are mobilising citizens without explaining these basic facts, the question becomes even more uncomfortable: are they educating citizens about democracy, or exploiting their ignorance for political theatre? Let us be clear. Criticising Gyanesh Kumar is legitimate. Questioning the Election Commission is legitimate. Demanding transparency and accountability is legitimate. But the Constitution provides a process for removing the CEC. A street ultimatum cannot replace it. And the right to protest is not a licence for violence. Where there are evidence from past for these protestors of attempting to breach barricades, get in clashes or incitement to violence, the police are entitled to take lawful preventive action. The previous protest’s conduct must be judged on evidence, and every police action must satisfy the applicable law. Nobody gets a free pass merely by attaching a political slogan to unlawful conduct. Democracy is not mob rule. Constitutional accountability is not street coercion. And journalism is not the art of amplifying ignorance. The Constitution is not protected by shouting its name. It is protected by understanding it, respecting its procedures and refusing to let political convenience override the law. If you are marching to save the Constitution, start by reading it. And if you are reporting on that march, start by explaining it.
