Students explored ancient #Assyrian artifacts, took part in a hands-on art activity and museum treasure hunt, and enjoyed a guided tour led by Dr. Kiersten Neumann.
We were honored to welcome Ron Sargis and Fred Rustam! Ron served AUAF for 20+ years, including as Executive Director and President. Fred, a City of Mesa engineer, also serves as a Director of the Assyrian Aid Society of America. Always great to welcome community leaders!

A rare Assyrian Takhsa, believed by the DeKasha family to be nearly 400 years old, has been donated to ACF’s Ashurbanipal Library. Brought to the U.S. in 1928 by Kasha Eshaya, it will now be preserved for future generations. #AssyrianHistory
More than a book. The Takhsa connects the DeKasha family to generations of priestly tradition, their ancestral village of Mazra’a, and the broader history of the Assyrian Christian community.
