Next truth bomb…a coaching change is needed on bars at Arkansas. It’s not working. I’ve watched for 5 seasons and seen no progress in their technique. The lack of technique fails them in big moments. The science is missing. Fix it. The athletes deserve better.

I’m saying it…Janelle should have switched chef Mika out for Maddie for a safe vault. That’s all they needed. A coaching error failed UCLA.

Cami, Frankie, Leah, Morgan, Cally - this is what you deserve. I am so thrilled you get to go to Natty’s to finish your careers. Will it be easy to get to FOTF? No way! Possible? Absolutely. You can do this. Go get what you’ve worked for.

Late to the party but have watched the meet and have thoughts…I actually think the vault lineup was insanity. I get wanting three people in AA but that should NEVER be at the expense of the TEAM. Apart from a slight mishap last meet, CW always gives you at 9.8+ /1

We could have easily missed finishing top 2 today. With vault up first, we had no idea how the rest of the meet would play out. You never take a risk in rotation 1. Maybe in rotation 4 on the last gymnast when your TEAM placing is secure /3

I’m glad it all worked out in the end but if we had of missed by .1, that would have been on the coaches, not the gymnasts. Do better Ark coaches. Also, where was LW on floor?

So proud of Arkansas, UCLA and Florida. But I have thoughts that have gotten stronger as the season went o… (thread) first I’ll start with the fact that I love the Arkansas gymnasts and any comments I make are a reference to the coach, not the gymnast. 1/

Do I think they have coaching potential? Absolutely! Do I think they are great coaches in other ways? Sure. But if they want their team to be elite, they need to look at themselves first. Go and do some volunteer coaching at club level. Younger levels. Get the basics right. 7/

I’m sure knowing how to get the basics right and teach the basics will impact results. These gymnasts are talented. Motivated. Determined. Don’t sell them short. Do what needs doing to ensure these gymnasts get the coaching, followed by the improved results, they deserve. WPS

Arkansas lineups need to change to give this team a chance to make nationals. Vault - sorry but josc needs to come out and Leah back in. Beam - pull cucci and put Cami back where she belongs. Those two changes will make an instant difference. There’s a few more but I’ll stop now

Arkansas were great tonight. May be an unpopular opinion but I don’t think these are the highest scoring potential lineups yet. I’d change up vault, bars, and floor. Hopefully Jordyn isn’t set with the current lineups. (No shade to the gymnasts, I love them all!)
