Well spotted, and thank you for recognizing the hard work of the team, @twostraws! JSON should be easier to manage in source control, more readable for humans, and easier for agents to work with. Exciting times for Xcode.

Anyone who found hockey through books is as valid as someone who found it from the Mighty Ducks movie or by skating on a freezing pond in the winter
Hope everyone enjoys @swift_leeds today, I had to miss it for personal reasons this year but looking forward to be back soon 🖤

I have seen, in the last few days, plenty of young girls who feel like they have to validate their love for the sport. The pretentious FT readership might have loved the "nuance" of the article, but the damage is real.
crazy to me. Who watches one of the most complex and beautiful sports in the world and thinks "Oh i wish i knew if that guy is a cinnamon roll or not"
Hockey fans certainly don't and I can tell you that much for free
"You attach special significance to a player, or a match — otherwise the whole experience would have less meaning. Without your imaginative investment, you’d just be watching a bunch of masked men chase a target through an empty space."
The last sentence of the article is
I read the article from top to bottom, and every comment on FT.com. Besides the drivel I pasted above, it's unfortunately true, plenty of people enjoyed this cringy article.
Now, do you think teenage girls playing hockey enjoyed it the same?

"Comments on FT.com suggested readers enjoyed the piece and found it nuanced"
@janinegibson , just like this one who said:
"Is nothing sacred from the rapacious sexualising appetites of women? First fantasy, werewolves and the like, and now violence on ice????"

I didn’t know about this took until like four years into the job so I spent my baby years without it 🥲 it wasn’t bad once I got the hang of it
