It only works if players still active at D7–D21 form reciprocal ties in the city, not just those from the launch spike. Otherwise, you’re opening a developer platform on a decaying concurrent base. Too early to call it a moat.

Can I please call out and say that @16vchq feels very scammy? At best, it is a "fake it until you can make it" story. A bunch of my friends joined 16vc slack group and showed me how absolutely useless it was. He claims to have funds to invest but he doesn't even have a team on his official slack. I have nothing personal but as a heads up, just DYOR before you engage with this.

The only piece of advice I have would be to see how to go for the jugular - Sims itself. If @Shalom_HeyEliy got into @ycombinator or was in Silicon Valley, they would as why she isn't building the next Sims, and will back her to do it. Replicate the real world - maybe one city at a time, but go for EVERYTHING!
