Sometimes, literally, the work of one person can make a difference in changing the system... in 🇵🇱 it is mentioned in the coalition agreement of the new government One very committed&determined individual - @WojciechKlicki -his work-supported by a team @panoptykon / @aboutintel

However, in a big win for @panoptykon @WojciechKlicki and digital rights, the deal explicitly includes the long fought for demand to give people subject to surveillance the right to be informed about this after the fact! 🎉

In our fourth piece on 🇳🇱 Temporary Cyber Act, Bart Jacobs & Rowin Jansen deplore that the current public debate seems to favour the creation of a complex and inflexible regulation of NL intelligence services. Instead, they argue, the new Act should aim to improve effectiveness.

Next up: Peter Koop @electrospaces He argues that defending 🇳🇱 interests against foreign cyber attacks requires a different set of tools than traditional intelligence work. The Cyber Act misses the opportunity to create an appropriate legal basis for this challenge, he finds.
