It turns out the PAC that was offering people $200 to heckle Abdul El-Sayed was started by Tommy's ... dad

I was a teacher before law school. I couldn’t convince teenagers to wear deodorant. The idea that teachers are convincing kids that they should get sex changes is utterly ludicrous.

Today, the right is responding with even more anger at Abdul El-Sayed, because this wasn't supposed to happen.
They expected Abdul to dance around the question while Tommy repeated it and was eventually kicked out. Instead, Abdul disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood and turned the question around on Tommy showing him he was guilty of the very thing he tried to accuse El-Sayed of.
Now the right is pissed even more, because instead of exposing Abdul El-Sayed, they were exposed.

My 80-year-old neighbour ran out of her blood pressure medication three days ago because she couldn't outsmart an AI voice tree.
She called the pharmacy:
“Press 1 if you have the app. Press 2 to receive a text link. Say 'Refill' to speak to the digital assistant.”
She kept repeating, “I just need my pills, dear.”
The automated system told her: “I didn't understand that response,” looped three times, and hung up on her.
She didn't want to bother her kids at work, so she just started cutting her remaining pills in halves, then in quarters, trying to stretch them. When I checked on her this morning, her blood pressure was 195/110 and she was so dizzy she couldn't stand.
I drove down to the store, stood at the counter, and had the refill in four minutes.
The pharmacist told me: “Corporate cut our phone staff last year to push customers toward the mobile app.”
If a senior citizen has to risk a stroke because your board of directors wanted to trim payroll with an automated phone loop, your business model is predatory. Full stop.

Arkansas Republican Rep. Jack Ladyman is running for reelection on a promise of equal opportunity for kids (left).
Meanwhile, his son Jeffery was arrested and charged with felony sexual indecency with a child (right).
Is this the Republican family values I keep hearing about?

Hey MAGAts, at this point you have to ask yourselves how Trump would behave any differently if he didn't directly work for Vladimir Putin. Trump cancelled sanctions. He fawns over Putin in public. He turned off Starlink. I mean c'mon, even you aren't this dumb

OMFG! OK so I’m against vandalism, but I could almost get behind this type of vandalism. Almost.
Trump says “every country using windmills have gone bankrupt”.
The three biggest users of windmills are China, The United States of America and Germany.
Anyone here about those three countries going bankrupt?
Why does he lie on things that are so easily verifiable?

Trump’s lawyers should have a great time at this hearing this morning in front of the judge he just called a “crazed lunatic” and “insane.” Enjoy.

What are we doing, America? WTFU!
ICE run over U.S. citizen riding his bike—break his arm.
Agents handcuff him behind his back without calling paramedics.
They inflict even more injuries—send him to the hospital in serious condition.
Then agents detain another U.S. citizen—for yelling at them on the sidewalk.
Man with the broken arm's daughter says he was hit on his e-bike by an unmarked car.
He was then tased twice and pinned to the ground—currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Multiple ICE vehicles were running through stop signs—speeding the wrong way down one-way streets.
All on a weekend afternoon with kids playing outside.
Incident occurred near the intersection of East 56th Street & Elm Avenue in Long Beach, California.
Stop ICE Net doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length, English translated, and credited video here to help raise awareness.

Abdul El-Sayed is BRILLIANT.👏👏👏
OSSOFF: At a rally, the president egged on supporters who assaulted a woman demanding the release of the Epstein files. Because if you can count on one thing about this White House, it's their tireless commitments to war, inflation, and covering up sex trafficking.

He was lying flat on his back in the road with both hands in the air, shouting that he was a therapist and the man beside him was autistic and holding a toy truck.
A policeman shot Charles Kinsey anyway. Kinsey asked him why.
The officer said: "I don't know."
North Miami, Florida, 18 July 2016. Kinsey, 47, was a behavioural therapist. One of his patients, Arnaldo Rios Soto, a 26-year-old autistic man, had wandered out of a group home and was sitting in the middle of the road playing with a silver toy truck.
Someone called 911 and reported a man with a gun threatening to kill himself.
Kinsey did everything. He lay down in the road on his back. He put both hands straight up in the air where they could be seen. He shouted his identification, his job, his patient's condition, and that the object was a toy. It is on video.
A SWAT officer fired three rounds. One hit Kinsey in the leg.
Then he was rolled over and handcuffed, bleeding in the road, and left there for a reported twenty minutes before an ambulance got to him.
He asked the officer why he had shot him. He has testified that the answer was: *I don't know.*
The officer, Jonathan Aledda, said he had been trying to protect Kinsey and believed Rios Soto was armed and a threat. He was charged — which is itself unusual — and tried twice. The first trial produced a conviction on one count of culpable negligence. A judge threw it out. A second jury acquitted him in 2019.
Nobody has been held responsible.
Kinsey survived and gave interviews, and the sentence he keeps returning to is the one everybody should take from this.
He was unarmed, flat on his back, hands up, announcing himself, in daylight, on camera.
He did everything right, and it did not matter.
Every Black parent in America who has ever recited the rules to a teenager — hands visible, say sir, do not move, announce what you are doing — has had to reckon with Charles Kinsey, because he followed all of them, perfectly, out loud, and was shot anyway.
