3/3 When our conventional frameworks crumble so easily against the complexities of history and suffering, it forces a fundamental question: Do we truly understand God, or have we merely constructed an image of God in our own likeness?@makethomike @MaminiminiObert @lmakombe

2/3 But this neat moral formula unravels when confronted with reality. How do we explain history’s worst tyrants who lived long, comfortable lives without reckoning? Or a newborn who draws a single breath and dies, untouched by moral agency or sin?@makethomike @MaminiminiObert

1/3 God is not human, yet we constantly project our own emotions, temperaments, and motives onto God. We love using a fragile, anthropomorphic lens quick to label any tragedy as "divine anger" or direct retribution for human failure. @makethomike @lmakombe @MaminiminiObert

Will we ever be a straight people? 1. I just wanted some mbambaira going for $5 for a small bucket, but the bucket has more "false floor" than a corrupt tender. The base is raised so high the potatoes are practically sitting on the rim @JamesKuwanda @lmakombe

5. The truth is, our leadership is just a high definition mirror of our streets. We have turned "hustling" into a license to be devious. We can’t expect a straight government from a society that can’t even sell a straight dozen of bananas!

6. If we want Zimbabwe to work, it is not just about changing the guys at the top. It is about a total mindset shift. We need an integrity overhaul from the borehole to the boardroom. Otherwise, we are just rotating the same tricksters in different suits

Out for my morning run in Goodhope and encountered this dog off-leash. Given the recent dog attacks in Harare and the country, it’s reckless to have unrestrained dogs in public spaces. We need stricter enforcement of leash laws before lives are lost @JamesKuwanda

I can hear a silent, inward rejoicing from a significant demographic at this momentous, and long overdue recognition from the fashion world!

5/5 Even today, those words echo in my mind, and I'm left with the same agonizing question: Why? Why would a teacher compel little children to utter such a horrific self-curse? I've tried to find out what became of Mr. Makoni, but it's as if he vanished without a trace.

4/5 Then, the true horror unfolded. He made the entire class stand up, one by one, each of us forced to repeat those ominous words aloud. We were just innocent kids, barely old enough to grasp the weight of what we were uttering, but that experience? It's burned into my very soul

3/5 I can picture it perfectly: the clock inching towards 1 PM, Mr. Makoni, with chilling deliberation, writing these exact words on the blackboard: "Woe betide me! May misfortune follow me wherever I go."

2/5 When we hit Grade 6, a new, temporary teacher arrived: a young man named Mr. Makoni. And honestly? That man traumatized us in a way I still can't fully comprehend.
