Trying out a long-term project.
To post one verse of शिवकवचम् in Sanskrit and its meaning per day.
@RohiniBakshi with your blessings, please! 🙏🏼
Apologies for any mistakes that might occur, and would humbly accept any corrections.
I moved the current a/c of my LLP from Indian Bank to @YESBANK and realised that I cannot use my YesBusiness netbanking credentials to make any e-commerce payments. Even the debit card for the current a/c does not work on e-commerce sites. I end up using my personal CC /1
to book tickets on MMT and for my Zoom/Claude subscriptions.
Worst part - cannot do pre-closure of FDs online! Have to submit a physical request at the branch!
As an ex-Yes Banker, who promoted the tech capabilities of the bank in 2007, this feels so disappointing! /2
Hate to do this, but looks like I have to search for another bank. Maybe to @ICICIBank , whose Roaming Current Accounts I sold in 2002.
It is a pain to change billing details in invoices, but what has to be done, has to be done. /3

Happening right now in Kerala.
Housewife with 2 kids borrows 4 lacs from a popular NBFC against her home. Unable to repay. Due amount spirals to 8 lacs.
The lady works as a salesperson at a textile company for a meagre salary.
NBFC issues notice to repay the loan. Unable to pay back.
Today, while the family was away, the NBFC officials arrive at the home, breaks the locks and enter her home. Locks the place with their own locks, officially evicting the family.
Local media picks it up, and Keralites across the world commit to help.
News falls on the ears of @LuLuGroup_India owner and billionaire @Yusuffali_MA He immediately asks his team in Kerala to settle the family's loan.
Lulu spokesperson confirms loan will be repaid in full tomorrow. Yusuffali sir also wanted to ensure that the family doesn't have to spend even one night outside. The locals ensure that won't happen.
All this happened within a span of 4 hours!
This the moment she learns that her loans will be taken care of.
Such a beautiful story!

Paromita, I understand you have IQ lower than the room temperature in Kolkata but still, I’m in a swimming pool, partying, not in a Mandir or any other place of worship. I know it’ll be real hard for you to understand the difference, but give it some try :)

@bhash is trying to find excuses to run away after facing the grim reality of profiteering from a sub-standard product. The current dispensation has helped him throughout. Kudos to @kunalkamra88 for calling out this charlatan

So anyone who points out to Ola scooter complaints, @bhash will offer them a job. Not a bad deal. Take 1 month sabbatical from current job, Join @OlaElectric , get some money and quit. That’s the only way to get refund for a defective product.

If they don’t improve, Ola Electric will slowly disappear. It’s not good to show arrogance in business.
Ola founder needs to tone down if he wants to survive in this competitive world.

I think @bhash needs to first go to the service center and start working instead of tweeting and further degrading his brand

Imagine you called a customer care and instead of solving your complaint they ask you to come join their company and solve the problem Yourself 😂😂
That’s what the whole debate between @bhash and @kunalkamra88 is about.
It’s funny and infuriating at the same time.

Sad. Toxic work culture is deeply embedded in Indian offices, glorifying overwork and sacrificing mental health. I have seen junior employees face unrealistic expectations, long hours, and a complete lack of work-life balance, leading to chronic stress and burnout. Many feel pressured to work late, not out of necessity but to meet a misguided sense of loyalty or ambition. Senior management must do better.
