We are delighted to hear that Grace (#WKGSY10) has won a District 4 NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) for her performance in Neston Player's The Railway Children (directed by Mrs Stenhouse) and has been nominated for a North West NODA as their forthcoming awards.

Bravest girls in the world.
A girls' school in Iran brought a member of the IRGC-run Basij paramilitary to speak to students. The girls welcomed the speaker by taking off their headscarves & chanting "get lost, Basiji".
Teenage girls have been at the forefront of protests for days.

Chaos on the West Coast Main Line again today - a mixture of overhead lines and too few trains.
The Government/Avanti line that this is all the fault of the unions gets more outrageous by the day.
Where is the recovery plan?
The Liverpool timetable needs to be restored too. Why haven't @AvantiWestCoast been threatened with the removal of their contract??
In the absence of any meaningful Government action, I am again meeting @AvantiWestCoast today to request a plan for the restoration of the full Manchester to London timetable.
I will provide an update after the meeting.
