Maserati 250F "Coffee Break" Safety issues aside, I've always loved the laid back and amateurish vibe of early Grand Prix racing, which inspired this piece. Just realized that I never shared this design yet, but maybe it could make a cool T-shirt, what do you think?

Back when Formula-1 cars were exciting.. If you've been following me for a long time you know that I first started my motorsport illustration journey with F1 cars. Yet for the last couple of years I haven't made a new design, because honestly the cars are just damn boring. 1/3

There's no sound, they don't attack the corners because it's faster not to, the battery deployment is up to the computer not the driver, cars slowing down on straights after running out of juice.. I have no idea how these PU regulations went through. 2/3

What's even sadder is that the cars look great with the size and weight reduction, but held back by the power unit. And with all the other amazing racing series' going on, Mercedes steamrolling the competition, I've just not cared to watch a race in some time now. 3/3

One of the miriad reasons why I don't see the point of using GenAI to create art, other big ones being that's it's garbage quality in its current form, steals other people's work, actively destroys the environment, nothing problematic really... Also I love the creative process.
