I was just verified on @PolymarketTrade!
Super grateful. Ever since I've started posting about Polymarket there's been so many opportunites for creating content and making safe trades on Polymarket.
I'm glad to see everyone's enjoying the alpha drops, I'll surely post more!

Replying to @nansen_ai
@nansen_ai has been blatantly allowing large-scale multi walleting fraud win most of their "Raffle Tickets" for weeks now, and there's no interest in addressing it. Users have been losing genuine entries to these sybils for almost the entire duration of the raffle. @ASvanevik
I apologize for quote tweeting something so negative, but I quote tweeted the tweet to show that this kind of sybilling has been here since week 1.
Here is this week's sybil I wanted to highlight:
solscan.io/account/7BASScCLs…
This wallet (7BASS...) is the main funding source 10+ wallets that engage in nearly >$9M in weekly volume on Nansen spot trades. This lone actor accounts for roughly almost 33-45% of all raffle tickets on any given week. And he might even have more wallets than what I've tracked.
His transaction flow is almost exact same every time. He transfers a large amount of money from the funder (7BASS...) to a sybil Nansen wallet, swaps to tokens on Solana to push volume, then immediately transfers back to the main funder after he's done (7BASS...) before funding a different sybil Nansen wallet.
Here are a few examples of his wallets:
solscan.io/account/3ppALMGEB…
solscan.io/account/8TbLCn2Mi…
solscan.io/account/D6616LnyP…
solscan.io/account/He6j3nWTo…
solscan.io/account/BTNcjyC28…
He is poised to win over a 1/3 of this week's Nansen raffle tickets, and this isn't the only week that he's done it. I'm sure if he sees this thread, he will just rotate to another central funding source.
The Nansen team needs to make this right. The entire Nansen raffle is 80% done and sybils have been winning almost the entire time, and users have been fighting the low winning odds. @MarcinPress @setagaya12abc @antiiheroine @broccoli_pd @hurcaneth
Please investigate this immediately. These wallets should NOT be winning the Week 8 raffle. THERE IS STILL TIME. I have a few suggestions to make this right:
- Investigate/disqualify ALL wallets involved in this thread, and keep on the lookout in the future, to disqualify wallets that have the same funding source (that is NOT an exchange address).
- EXTEND the Nansen raffle to be more than 10 weeks. Users have been getting their genuine entries stolen by bad actors since week 1, and basically never got an opportunity at a fair raffle this entire time.
- Weigh the odds so that people who have participated in the raffle every week have a higher chance to win than new wallets. Maybe people who've traded in multiple different weeks of the raffle receive a higher ticket earn rate. This prevents bad faith actors from spinning up new wallets/obscuring their funding source next time.
I DON'T believe @nansen_ai team is doing this on purpose (like the quote tweet suggests). I just believe there is negligence regarding due diligence on the raffle. This was extremely obvious (like the week 1 sybil) and yet he was able to get away with this for MUCH longer.
Final Note: On an individual basis, each wallet is fine, and places legitimate trades, without bypassing paying Nansen fees, or anything else suspicious. The issue is that the bad actor is using multiple wallets to break through the $3,000 win limit per user, and is attempting to win 30%+ of every week's raffle.
PLEASE, NO ONE PARTICIPATE IN THIS SHIT ASS NANSEN COMPETITION
Basically, 69% of the pool got distributed to the 2 wallets that washtraded USDC/USDT pair, I would not be surprised if it was team wallets
zero transparency about spot/perps volumes if you didn't look it up yourself, zero transparency about raffle
1) 26000$
solscan.io/tx/1EWjXQ6RTwfpCF…
2) 43000$
solscan.io/tx/v4iq6JqMS1NwPm…
Nansen raised 80m$ and is supposed to run antisybil service for other projects and couldn't even filter out the most obvious sybil on their own platform lmaoooo
@nansen_ai @ASvanevik u think this is ok?
I only managed to place 1 trade this week on the @hiveliveHQ tourney, but still sitting at 4th place right now.
I had limit orders for much more stuff that ended up winning, but nothing got filled, unfortunately. Was generally just trying to play into the fact that equities would bounce/stagnate instead of dropping further today.
Trying to sneak into the knockout round by getting a top 3rd placement, as I think 1st and 2nd are too competitive.
My biggest competition would probably be TheNooMast, as he has the same points and is placing 1 higher. Going to have to compete for third place
I likely will have to up the risk further for the third round, but again, will probably wait to see how everyone does in the 3rd round before seeing how much I should up the risk.
Ended at 5th place on group B. Fair placement. I decided to not trade higher and lock in the points at about 4th place but Coco overtook me in the last hour or so.
I want to see if the same people can consistently place 1st or 2nd. If that's the case then I'll have to up the risk on the second or third rounds. My general target would be 30 points, as I think that's enough to qualify, generally speaking.

So after some trades yesterday, I'm 4th in my group on the @hiveliveHQ tournament. I think I'm gonna chill and see how it progresses.
There seems to be a daily limit where you have to place 1 trade a day or something. I think this is to prevent people from sitting on their hands to outperform people losing, then aping last second.
IMO it's a great way to fill that by just bonding relatively safe markets (not full size ofc)
Yesterday I put limit orders on some good value stock end of week stuff, attempting to bond. Many "safe" (nothing is safe) bonds were sitting in the 70c-80c price range, and since the week was ending, and we only have a week to get PnL, I decided to try and bond those to resolution. Current strategy worked out well. My best performing one was NVDA (I believed a 3x was a fair trade to take), and it ended up hitting!
I also got $3 in LP rewards, unintentionally though, was just not trying to pay fees.
My goal of course, is to hit 1st or 2nd place, twice, and secure my spot to the knockout round. Of course, that's not entirely likely or possible. I think my best chance would be trying for multiple 3rd place performances.
I think people will try and outcompete each other on this tourney, at least the first round, so we might see some rollercoaster PnLs in my group. Hoping that some safer bonds throughout the week can bring me to a good spot.

So the @hiveliveHQ tournament started, and I'm in a pretty tough group.
I'm grouped with @frosen @brokietrades and also a strong weather trader @C0cocrypto (which is really bad for me because weather trading works really well for this challenge, it doesn't take a lot of capital and has opportunities everyday)
I've also noticed that the PNL resolution source is probably betmoar and not the actual Poly PNL like last challenge, so fees are taken out. Might make the difference.
I placed some maker limits and expect to be filled later today. Will update with what I went with when filled! Going to be quite difficult to score enough to qualify but I'll try my best here.

I registered!
Last competition I managed to get into the top 50. Let's see if I can do better this time!
WE’RE RUNNING IT BACK
THE HIVE WORLD CUP
$10,000 in prizes. Free entry. Begins June 12
Your chance to prove yourself
I don’t think people are prepared for how big this is. Takers are required for markets. If everyone was setting maker orders nothing would move. Whatever volume left due to fees may return because of taker rebates.
Introducing taker tier rebate program - poly.market/taker-tier
Get rebated up to 50% of all trading fees on polymarket, earn $ level up bonuses, and be eligible for large future rewards.
Will be live starting next week 🙂
Everyone’s focused on the “Polymarket | Airdrop” tabs, but not enough people are talking about the “Polymarket | The World [Cup?]” page.
There will likely be an entire rewards pool to LP during the event, alpha would be to take advantage.

POLYMARKET TO BRING MAIN EXCHANGE TO THE US PENDING CFTC BLESSING: BBG

This is my 3rd week as VP of Engineering DeFi at @Polymarket , and I'm going to be straight: the traction @Polymarket has seen has massively outpaced our infrastructure, and we haven't done nearly enough to scale to keep up. I hear you, and fixing this is our entire focus. We're a major company now, and we need to engineer like one. Here's exactly what we're doing:
- Onchain data latency. We're working on making this near-instant so the experience is incredible.
- Chain migration. We need more block space, cheaper gas and much smaller block times so settlement is instant.
- Transactions are getting cancelled. We understand this is one of the most frustrating issues right now, and we have a complete fix coming very soon.
- Massive focus on the website to make it faster, more responsive, and with better UX.
- We added observability everywhere. Proper alerting so we catch issues ourselves, market makers should not be the ones telling us something is down. That's been unacceptable, and we know it.
- E2e tests throughout, starting with the CLOB, so issues get caught in CI before anything ships.
- CLOBv2 is not a rewrite. It won't improve performance or stability on its own; it's an upgrade that unlocks us to move fast right after. We'll do better with communication next time.
- We are rebuilding the CLOB from the ground up. Most important thing we're doing. Without it, we can't be the best DeFi exchange in the world. We know it, we're on it, it's mission critical.
- Unified TypeScript SDK for all APIs, which is shipping soon.
- Unified API. One WS connection for everything, with a schema that's actually readable.
- New Polymarket contract in the works that unlocks things that are simply impossible on the current protocol.
- New hires: Head of QA Automation, Head of Dev Tooling, Head of Internal Tooling, Head of Data Engineering.
- Smaller, dedicated teams. Fewer focus points per person, clearer ownership. People do what they're good at and are accountable for it.
- Working closely with customer support to give them real debugging tools so any user issue gets properly diagnosed, not lost.
- Proper communication with marketing and market makers so everyone knows what's coming and when, and MM can submit feature requests with a clear path to get them into engineering and shipped.
- Working with 4 security teams daily to ensure we're super secure and that funds are always safe.
- Perps incoming. Brand new contracts and a backend built from scratch in Rust. We're proud of this one.
- A lot of other fixes are running in parallel right now.
Starting next Friday, I will be posting weekly engineering updates.
I joined because I genuinely believe in what @Polymarket is trying to do. @shayne_coplan built this so the world has somewhere to go to find out what's actually going to happen, not what the media thinks, not what a pundit says, but what thousands of people are willing to put money on. But right now, our engineering isn't living up to that. We've let people down, and I'm not going to dress that up. I came here to fix it, and that's exactly what we're going to do. The next few months are going to speak for themselves. Stay with us.

Let's talk about fees, volume, and TVL.
Introducing fees was always going to happen, and necessary if they want to further grow as a company, and conduct further raises, IMO.
The fee rates themselves are still competitive as well.
The data is also holding up very well post fees, since fees disincentivize further any volume washers, etc. The metrics will normalize to volume done by real MMs/traders, which is very healthy.
Long term helps sustain the company, and honestly giving back fee rebates is pretty generous. Not sure if rebates are intended to be a permanent thing, as they're going to be incentivizing takers as well soon AFAIK.
TVL ever increasing is a very good sign. It's almost above ATH from elections. They do incentivize TVL but in only few markets and most people don't take advantage of this, so this TVL is coming from real interested users, super healthy.
Long term I'm curious to see how DEX volume plays out. I'm sure they will incentivize more sports markets, and the World Cup is coming up too, which will further increase volume.
The post fee introduction volume dip will probably just be a hitch, and the trend will probably resume upwards. Some promising stuff on the horizon!
This was an extension of their commitment on October of last year, but they added more I believe.
Super promising. The extra funding would help make the platform much smoother.
Improvements in the data providers and making sure the platform runs very smoothly, even under heavy load, will go a long way.
