One of my uncles went to study to become a pharmacist in late soviet Leningrad on an all expenses paid scholarship, when he had resigned himself to being an illiterate farmhand before. What the former USSR did to uplift the third world is without parallel in world history

No, what we need is Indigenous sovereignty, which requires the USA as a country to stop existing

I can’t stand the loophole of calling it an “8-hour shift” when the unpaid lunch hour means I’m physically at the workplace for 9 full hours.
TIL about Félicette, the 1st cat sent to space. Despite handling an unbelievably stressful launch & landing, French scientists immediately killed her upon return in order to look at her brain. They learned nothing from it, & subsequently killed all the other cats in the program.
Horrific, the things done to animals in the name of “science”. starwalk.space/en/news/first…

I’m so tired of people signalling queerness by expressing disgust towards people’s bodies, especially when that disgust will disproportionally affect those most vulnerable within the LGBT+
It’s rarely done on purpose too, our existence just doesn’t cross the average ally’s mind
Reneé Rapp says she’s so gay that penises genuinely make her feel sick to her stomach
Alexandra Cooper: “What is the most lesbian thing about you?”
Reneé Rapp: “Toa said this to me the other day. She was like, ‘You are so fucking gay. You are so much gayer than I am.’”
“And I was like, ‘Excuse me? What are you talking about? Look at you. Are we deadass right now?’”
“And she was like, ‘No, no, no. You are so much gayer than I am. You are so deeply, deeply, deeply repulsed by dick. It is insane.’”
“And it’s true. I can’t even. It makes my stomach turn. It makes me sick to my stomach. I don’t understand it. I can’t get behind it.”
“I don’t like the shape. I don’t like the fact that it’s… I hate it. It makes me deeply upset and sick to my stomach.”
“Are you aware of something called dorking?”
Alexandra Cooper: “No?”
Reneé Rapp: “Yeah, don’t be. Oh my God, I’m getting, like, viscerally sick thinking about it.”
“It’s where people with dicks, like, they twerk with their… they dance, basically. I just found out about it and I was like, ‘You all are fucking repulsive. You have to stop that right now.’”
“I feel assaulted just by hearing it. Just by hearing it.”
Alexandra Cooper: “Wait, they’re swinging their wieners around?”
Reneé Rapp: “Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. I can’t do it.”
“When you’re so gay or so lesbian, you can make jokes about it and it’s like, ‘Hee hee hee.’ I’m like, no, literally not at all. It makes me sick to my stomach.”
“I’ve just warmed up to it to where I can hear it. But I think that’s the most lesbian thing about me. It makes me viscerally upset. There’s a deep, guttural… I’m literally like, ‘Stop it right now.’”

It’s direct action with no theory. Lenin literally wrote about this—without theory, there’s no revolution. The protests are amazing at showing working-class rage, but because they lack a cohesive structural alternative to capitalism, the state just waits them out. It keeps the status quo perfectly intact.
Effectively, there needs to be direct action which is guided by strict political theory and a long-term organisational strategy. This can’t happen if there is no political organisation aiding with this, and I think that’s the ultimate issue.
If French protests are so effective why are they still stuck with neoliberalism? Why is their country still loyal to Israel and NATO? Why is the French ruling class completely unresponsive to French protester demands?
You guys realize that this is like the 100th time in the last 10 years that France has erupted in protests over neoliberalism right? Americans tend to romanticize these protests but what have they accomplished? French protesters engage in revolutionary adventurism but don’t have a follow up on how to change the system in a meaningful way. So we repeat the same cycle over and over
This is not a diss on the French protesters at all because they are just reacting to their material conditions, which is normal. But at what point do we begin having the conversation that western liberal democracy as a whole completely failed and no amount of “protests” will fix it. Protests without further revolutionary action of building real dual power seems to amount to nothing in the west

The Supreme Court burns to the ground in Albania, Parliament and the Department of Education has been stormed, the Prime Minister is in hiding and the country is effectively in the hands of the rebels.
Albania rejects blatant corruption and their country being sold.

Tomorrow, we will once again distribute meals to displaced people in Gaza.
The food will reach 150 of the poorest and most vulnerable families. Children deserve to have food to eat, just like children everywhere else in the world.
Your donations make a difference.
Please, contribute and help us make this possible: chuffed.org/project/172937-d…

Look, I'm gonna try and be kind about this.
Seeing this video sandwiched between footage from Albania, France, Spain, Brazil, Italy, and India is jarring.
It feels like a bad joke.

Black panther food programs were literally "pending revolution" programs. Thats what they called it. They did nothing without directing toward the larger goal. Even during the programs they gave out PE materials and tried to bring people in.

I love when you see your cat walking toward you at a leisurely pace and you say "hi baby!" because you're excited to see them and they start trotting a little bit faster cause they're excited to see you too
I came across this image and immediately thought of Leo. I wish I could hear him say, “Don’t worry, I’ll always be with you.”
Leo was more than a cat to me. He was my family, my little companion, and a piece of my heart. During the war, hunger took him from me. I still think about how helpless I felt, and how much I wish I could go back and give him everything he needed.
I would give anything for one more day with him—to hold him, hear his little voice, and remind him how deeply he was loved. The war took him away, but it could never take the memories or the love I still carry for him.
I miss you every day, Leo. You’ll always be with me in my heart. 💔
If you’ve ever lost a cat you loved, tell me their name or share a memory of them. I’d love to remember them with you.
Palestinian flag in every single protest cause it represents more than just palestinian nationhood, it represensts courage, resisitance, liberation and freedom. There is no liberation of the working class of the world without the liberation of the palestinians ❤️🇵🇸

We could have France level protest, and instead we have pathetic ass no kings. Shit pisses me off
The scale of New York City's response to the nationwide No Kings mobilization against the Trump administration is nothing short of staggering. Powerful! ✊
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video shows FOX aerial coverage of large "No Kings" protests in NYC from October 18, 2025, not the smaller October 17, 2026 voter-focused events.

“One of the biggest and most dangerous mistakes made by Communists (as generally by revolutionaries who have successfully accomplished the beginning of a great revolution) is the idea that a revolution can be made by revolutionaries alone. On the contrary, to be successful, all serious revolutionary work requires that the idea that revolutionaries are capable of playing the part only of the vanguard of the truly virile and advanced class must be understood and translated into action. A vanguard performs its task as vanguard only when it is able to avoid being isolated from the mass of the people it leads and is able really to lead the whole mass forward.”

May we all pray that the French succeed in breaking out of the shackles of this decrepit and demonic neoliberal chaos which marches civilization toward mass death, excuses genocide and burns our planet. To save not just the west but the whole world from our oncoming extinction.
