Have a look at some of the changes in school over the holiday. We have improved our library further with the Harry Potter theme and the dangerous sensory garden has been improved so soon the children can play on the new grass. We hope you like it.

A big thank you to Mrs Read, who has made the journey to London to pay her respects and she has kindly taken the children’s, staff and parents Book of Condolence to London with her.

Goodbye to the mobile classroom, it has many memories and seen many children go through it’s doors but for now we look forward to its replacement.

What a great treat for our children as we have taken delivery of some free stories. Thank you - the children are going to love them. @Literacy_Trust #MarcusRashfordBookClub #readingforpleasure

We had a great turnout today to support Mens Mental Health Week. Dads, Grandads, stepdads and significant other men turned out to work with the children to garden and clear the grounds. Thank you for the wonderful support #mensmentalhealth

So pleased today to have received this award, with thanks to Mrs Louisa Wilkes for her continued hard work in supporting and promoting mental health. Our children and parents have really benefited from the work that has gone on in school to get this award #mentalhealth

Today all the children at Abbey have finished the half term with a fantastic jubilee celebration. With a picnic, cake baking competition and inflatable fun, all children has a great time. Well done to reception for winning the cake bake and the dance club for a super performance.

If you haven’t already seen the progress made on the booster mobile, take a look at the wonderful artwork that has been completed by #andyart6976. What a talent! Which book character can you spot?

It’s a exciting week coming up with Sports week & Jubilee week all rolled into one. We have sports days, boxing sessions, cake baking, national anthem singing, Jubilee activities, inflatable fun & a garden party. Children can wear PE kits/sportswear Mon-Thurs.

For all Abbey Primary School families at St Thomas Church, we would encourage everyone to support this Mossley Big Local event.
