Whoa. This is legit. I didn’t know Matt Groening named all of the Simpson characters after his own family.
Yikes! Prayers for those affected. And further inland in the SFV, it’s a mere drizzle.
#BREAKING: New video from Long Beach, CA shows homes starting to collapse due to large waves from Rachel's impacts.
Emergency crews rushed to deploy seawall barriers as the coast took a beating on Sunday.
We'll have continued coverage of this story and more. #CAwx

Yesterday, a Jehovah’s Witness knocked on my door to share his faith with me.
We briefly discussed some differences between his beliefs and mine, but then the fact that he doesn’t believe that ‘Jesus is God’ came up.
In God’s providence, I had actually just read Matthew 9:1-8 that very same morning which is the story where Jesus heals a man and gets accused of doing something “only God can do” …forgiving sins!
That little passage doesn't just hint at Jesus' divinity. It puts it on FULL DISPLAY. Let me explain.
• Jesus gets accused of doing something only God can do. (Mat 9:3)
• Jesus forgives sins. (Mat 9:2)
• Jesus knows people’s thoughts / what’s on their heart (Mat 9:4) (Also, it nods to 1 Samuel 16:7: The LORD looks at the heart.)
• Jesus calls himself the “Son of man” - term in Daniel 7 to describe a heavenly figure who receives everlasting dominion and the worshipful service of the nations. (Mat 9:6)
• Jesus performs a visible miracle to confirm his invisible claim (He forgives sins bc He’s God) (Mat 9:5-7)
• Jesus heals with the authority of his own word. (Mat 9:6-7)
I finally asked him “do you believe that only God can forgive sins?”
He refused to answer. I asked him again. Refused to answer. I looked him in the eye and gently smiled at him and asked him one more time: “do you believe that *only God* can forgive sins?”
And he finally said yes. Then I said “then who is Jesus?”
I could tell he connected some dots and that realization unsettled him. Immediately, he politely said “I gotta go,” respectfully shook my hand and left.
Never underestimate what God can do through one conversation grounded in His Word. Praying that this kind man would come to know and put his faith in Jesus as He is actually revealed in Scripture.

California:
Guys. I haven’t been wrong yet.
I was right about prop 47 and 57. I told you it would lead to high crime.
I was right about George Gascon as a DA.
I was right about ballot measure fraud.
I knew the fix would be in for the LA mayors race and that the homeless were being exploited to sway the election.
And I was right about Prop 50. I told you not to give your power away to Sacramento. And the reason?
Prop 40.
The so called billionaires tax. It is not a billionaire’s tax at all. You want to know why? Because Sacramento knows that billionaires and millionaires are leaving this dumpster fire of a state.
So as they leave, they will expand the tax to the middle lass and poor, and there will be nothing you can do about it because… (drumroll)… you voted for prop 50. You let them scare you into giving them power over you. They can do whatever they want now and you have no say so.
Do not vote of this proposition. Prop 40 will place even more taxes on the backs of the working class. It is inevitable.
Don’t fall for it.
Please vote YES on 39 for voter ID. Our elections system is corrupt and we actually have a chance to fix it.
We have to vote for Hilton. It’s no longer about party lines. We cannot keep voting for the same kinds of candidates and expect something different.
Becerra was exposed during that debate. Hilton has ideas that sound like they can help reduce some of the damage. But it has to start somewhere. And that starts with him and prop 39.
The footage I am seeing from OC is crazy! This isn't even the most insane, just the most recent to hit my feed. I hope everyone in So Cal stays safe. We aren't used to this kind of weather!
I am now contacting my banks to issue disputes and chargebacks. 10 of them in total. @GoDaddy is an absolute failure to try to work with.
I've been trying unsuccessfully to resolve this issue with @GoDaddy support. They are now LYING about sending me failed billing emails. And they are not honoring their text support saying that the previous payments will be applied.

I really hate @GoDaddy. Their text support option is incredibly horrible. I ask direct questions and do not get answers. They have cost me over $1000 for a domain I was leasing and had a billing issue that they never notified me about, now the lease has to start over. Grrr.
Whenever I see a quote online that I like, I get excited to share it and then pause for a moment. I ask @grok if it's real. 90% of the time it's not and I don't share.

What once was the peak, is now just the beginning.
Paramount and Warner Bros. shaped over a century of culture. By combining them, we aren't rewriting history — we're equipping these iconic studios with a more powerful engine. Together, we are Skydance: a creative-first home for bold, quality storytelling.
We chose this name for a few important reasons. First and foremost, as we bring Paramount and Warner Bros. together, we wanted to preserve what has made each of these studios iconic. Both have distinct identities, extraordinary legacies and brands that have resonated with audiences for generations. We never wanted a new corporate identity to diminish, alter or overshadow either one. Instead, we wanted a name that would give the combined company an identity of its own while allowing Paramount and Warner Bros. — and all our extraordinary brands — to remain in the spotlight.
We have big goals for Skydance, and we intend to pursue them with passion, imagination and a willingness to take smart risks. At the same time, we will honor what makes Paramount and Warner Bros. special — giving both studios the opportunity to grow, tell more great stories and bring those stories to even broader audiences around the world, powered by the scale and capabilities of Skydance.
I couldn’t be more excited about what we’re going to build together.

If you listen to Cain, he will tell you that righteous Abel was the problem.
If you listen to Potiphar’s wife, she will tell you that righteous Joseph was the wicked man.
If you listen to Pharaoh, he will tell you that Moses was an enemy of the state.
If you listen to Saul, he will tell you that loyal David was a traitor.
If you listen to Haman, he will convince you that Mordecai was a dangerous enemy.
If you listen to Ahab and Jezebel, they will tell you that Elijah, the prophet of God, was the troublemaker.
If you listen to the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, they will tell you that the sinless Jesus was a blasphemer.
If you listen to Judas Iscariot, he will find a way to justify betrayal.
If you listen to Pontius Pilate, he will wash his hands while Truth stands directly in front of him.
And if you listen to the world, do not be surprised when it calls righteousness evil and evil good.
My friends, listen carefully: a lie does NOT become Truth simply because it is repeated loudly, confidently, or by powerful people.
Be careful what you hear.
Be careful whom you believe.
Be careful whom you follow.
Test everything by the Word of God.
The world may condemn you for standing for Biblical Truth but the only verdict that ultimately matters is His!!!
Stand firm. Stand faithful. And above all, listen to Jesus.

One of my favorite biblical prophecies that Jesus fulfilled is that he would cause non-Jews to turn to the God of Israel.
This is profound. I mean, Jews have never even tried to convert other people in mass. Yet, Jesus brought Gentiles around the world to reject their pagan gods and worship the God of Israel. They picked up and translated and printed the Jewish Scriptures. We study them now and believe in them.
Jesus fulfilled a prophetic expectation when he converted the world. This is wild because it’s just so incredibly unlikely and lofty. I think modern Jews would do well to stop and think about how strongly this supports the fact that Jesus is their Messiah.
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
I will make you as a light for the nations,
that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
— Isaiah 49:6
All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the LORD,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
— Psalm 22:27

The older I get, the less patience I have for poor communication. Whether it's a professional client or personal service provider. If I ask about a specific potential issue, I do not want radio silence or an answer that ends up not being true. If you don't know, tell me that.
Oh my. This is sad news.
🚨DEVASTATING: “You can’t pull up?” Those are the final words heard as a KNBC helicopter crashes during a live report in Los Angeles while covering a deadly bus crash. You can actually hear what appears to be a rotor issue as the helicopter goes down. Reporter Eliana Moreno and George Marciniw, a pilot with over 14,000 flight hours, died.
Please pray for their families, friends and colleagues🙏 I worked in local news in LA before coming to Israel. Everyone who’s ever worked in a local newsroom knows these crews become family.
