If there was one video in the history of storm chasing used to define it, it would be this one. Literally chasing / running along with this twister in Manitoba Canada. This tornado was rated EF3 and occurred on June 28, 2026.
Go Jets go! We got it covered from down here @UtilityVoice @NHLJets

We are tracking a severe weather and tornado threat in Georgia this afternoon in association with the remnants of former Hurricane Isaias.
Power crews are either already here or descending on the Florida coast this morning to bring power back online. Here in Destin we have limited cell service and no power.
Power is out here in Destin, FL tonight after Hurricane Isaias blasted through the area. All I hear is ringing in my ears and the hum of generators. Can only assume these condos in the distance are also lit up by generators. ATT cell service is down but for now I still have Verizon.

@SimonStormRider, @MichaelGordonWX and my position closest to the “eye” of Hurricane Isaias where we measured a minimum pressure of 976.2 mb. We were getting hellacious winds right after this at the beach on Hwy 2378. There is nothing in this world like standing out in the winds, completely exposed to the ocean, and experiencing the wrath of a hurricane.

Powerful winds and torrential rain swept through Destin, Florida, as Hurricane Isaias made landfall, causing water to rise quickly in low-lying areas. Storm chaser @aaronjayjack captured the conditions shortly after landfall.

We are hunting down Hurricane Isaias in the Destin, FL area. Strong wind and heavy rain have begun to pound the coast. Things will only get worse over the next couple of hours. Expect life threatening storm surge and widespread power outage this evening.
Strong wind is starting to pound Destin, FL and we are still a few hours from landfall. Winds will continue to ramp up as the storm surge moves in with a high tide tonight. Tracking Hurricane Isaias LIVE!
Heavy rain all morning is starting to flood the roadways on Navarre Beach where evacuation orders are in place and where the water was shutdown at noon. Lots more rain to go before landfall tonight. We are LIVE chasing Hurricane Isaias. @accuweather @ConnorWX
Hurricane ISAIAS Landfall LIVE In Pensacola Florida xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1dJrPrVER…
Preparations are underway here in Gulf Breeze, FL. Gas tanks being wrapped but lots of traffic about. Besides the hurricane we are also facing a tornado threat today into tomorrow.
The sun has set on Pensacola Beach, FL. The sky is glowing like a warning sign. Convective towers out over the gulf are catching sun still with flights still coming into Pensacola. Hurricane Iasias is forecast to make landfall in a little over 24 hours.
Lots of surfers catching waves this evening in Penscaola Beach, FL ahead of Hurricane Isaias. It is a beautiful evening out here tonight wow.
Chasing Hurricanes Isaias in Pensacola, FL. Forecast calls for a Category 2 hurricane at landfall tomorrow night (Friday). We will be dealing with winds over 100 mph and storm surge flooding here in Pensacola. Lots of life going on here still on the beach with very few preparations underway (window boarding).
On this day 4 years ago, I intercepted Major Hurricane Ian in Punta Gorda, FL. Ian caused catastrophic wind and surge damage on the southwest Florida peninsula. Just 4 days earlier I intercepted the remnants of Hurricane Fiona in Nova Scotia which caused major damage in Sydney.
Wild couple of weeks of weather in 2022.
