Now you can pull for the Eagles. #GoBirds
I’ve been a college football guy my whole life. But now that the FBS college game is functioning like a pro league I find myself liking the NFL more. Better players. Better football. Better team continuity. Better league structure. It’s a much better product at this point. The pageantry, history, and regional peculiarities that made the college game great are severely cheapened when almost all of your best players are mercenaries who have played at 2 or 3 other schools in their career. Not blaming the players. Just saying how I see it. @NFL @CFBPlayoff
Bob Tebow taught me to preach in the Philippines in 2002 when I was 20 years old. Went back again with him in 2012 as a youth pastor and brought several students. Forever grateful for his impact on my life and the thousands of others he trained!
Heaven ushered in a hero of the faith last night as my Dad was welcomed home!
Many will say sorry for your loss but the truth is he’s not lost, we know exactly where he is.
He’s home.
Forever!
I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.”
He couldn’t wait to see Jesus face to face.
Praise God that his wait is over.
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
He’s healed and whole now.
So we don’t mourn as those with no hope.
See you soon Dad!
Yes to this! 100%
Southern Baptists need to prioritize Christian education. Imagine hundreds if not thousands of new Christian schools across the nation committed to excellence and the doctrinally sound instruction of a rising generation. We’ve been mostly AWAL on this issue that could help revitalize churches and impact communities. At Calvary, we’ve personally seen the transformational impact.
Great kicker for a great school. Proud of you
Grateful to receive an offer from Valdosta state! Excited to be on campus next week.
