Just went to the @Padres game tonight. It’s tradition to sing “All the Small Things” at the game. Sat right behind @tomdelonge for it. Pretty surreal. (And the Padres won)

The Pittsburgh Zoo GM
Pittsburgh Zoo has agreed to trade 7-year-old male gorilla, Frankie, to Boston in exchange for 33-year-old silverback gorilla, Little Joe Both trades were designed to 'provide a healthy, genetically diverse population of critically endangered gorillas in human care' 💯 (Via @PghZoo, @zoonewengland)

Players in NBA History to average 40+ PTS, 8+ REB, 7+ AST, and 45%+ FG over any 9-game span: • Luka Doncic (2023) • Luka Doncic (Last 9 Games)

The Luka Trade was hard. Do you know someone still struggling with the topic a year later? @BiasedSlightly leads Lukaholics Anonymous to help those in need of fresher sports banter.

A year ago today, the NBA pretty much died to me. I watch about 20% of the Mavs games this season and 1% of NBA national tv games. I used to be at 80-90% Mavs games and 25% national NBA games. I do like Cooper Flagg a lot. My heart can’t get over what Nico and ownership did.

It would be objectively hilarious if Luka came back to Dallas to play with Cooper one day. An epic way for the basketball gods to troll Nico.

And remember, if people were telling you to “move on,” if you had “moved on,” Nico would still be here. These motherfuckers have likely never been *forced* to do anything, in any of their businesses, ever. They just fucking railroad people as a matter of course. And this time, you forced their hands

Nothing quite like the Mavs falling to dead last in the West after another stinker, then Luka being Luka immediately after because he plays a lot of late games on the west coast now.

Patrick Dumont decided to kickstart his organization’s transition to a “sports and etertainment company” by throwing away their global superstar. Truly one of the worst businessmen in the history of commerce.

It defies all reasonable explanations.
It remains utterly incomprehensible that Luka Doncic was traded.

I can't lie 77 is still my favorite player & he's easy to root for. I'll never root for that team but I can't help but wanting every shot he puts up to go in. My favorite player had always been on my favorite team my whole life until 2/1/2025. This will never be weird & painful.

Nico Harrison really thought he could win by bringing back a style of basketball the league figured out and moved on from 15 years ago 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Got rid of the most prolific offensive player in the league because “defense wins championships.” But now “we need to be better offensively, and that will help our defense.” Never forget that Nico Harrison dismantled a championship roster out of pure spite.
Jason Kidd when asked about what went wrong defensively: “Our offense. It starts offensively, so we’ve gotta be better offensively and that will help our defense.” Also said they just “didn’t pass the ball. It’s an easy fix. Make a play for a teammate.”
