All of those current Tesla employees helping to train Optimus robots might pause to consider how many human workers will no longer be needed to perform similar tasks in the future. Thanks.
The thing to ask about nearly every video on social media: "Who was holding the camera? And why?" Similar to "Follow the money!" Thanks.
If human elimination by AI does happen, it will probably be an unanticipated side effect of some apparently reasonable action. An example might be a pandemic "remedy" with side effects not found until far in the future, like an inability for humans to reproduce. Thanks.
One of the political safeguards that we can build into AI is to promote as many companies and models as possible, and to prevent mergers and acquisitions. Let them contend as widely and continuously as possible in the marketplace of ideas. Thanks.
I am thinking that every time he hears his name being used today, Adolph is pleased that his legacy endures. Thanks.
The question that least contributes to news reporting: "How do you feel?" I want to take away the microphone of any reporter who asks that. Thanks.
The most important issue about AI is not being addressed: Who controls my individual access to "intelligence" in the future? I am not concerned about "killer" robots. Access to AI agents can be cancelled at any time for the individual user by corporate or government control. AI makes Big Brother actually possible; screens with cameras are already installed in most homes. Those who promote AI as a glorious future without addressing this issue are not doing us a service. Thanks.
A question for radical progressives and conservatives: Can you name two or three ideas that are politically central? Thanks.

My daughter's friend in grad school, upon being asked by a member of her dissertation committee why she didn't include a Marxist perspective. "I grew up in the Soviet Union. I don't practice recreational Marxism."
After the initial shock of transition, we will live in an intelligence network that is as useful, ubiquitous, and commonplace as the current electrical network. Thanks.
Those upset with Musk's wealth should be able to name the bank where he keeps his trillion dollars. Waiting. Thanks.
I watched the full end credits on a movie recently, and realized that probably 80-90% of the jobs listed would simply disappear when AI can make full movies. Thanks.
Trump may be an expert on making deals, but I suspect that he always negotiated with those who held his business values, not religious fundamentalists or death cultists. Thanks.
Neither Steven Pinker nor Ross Douthat, in their recent debate, go back far enough in human history. Human instincts for what we now call concern, charity, and fairness for some and denied to others originate in our generations of tribal life of limited resources and mutual interdependency. Thanks.
As an American, Great Britian's rushing into the Islamic ummah feels like a beloved parent gradually and irreversibly slipping into dementia. Thanks.
Re Moltbot: AI models are built on data originally created by humans and with no ability to make ethical judgments. So why should we expect it to be any more trustworthy than your latest nightmare on social media? Thanks.
Some Black and adjacent White commentators seem to be trying to hang the chains of slavery around White necks today even if only metaphorically. Why? Because guilt is a potent weapon for reparations. And revenge. Thanks.
It took me too long to figure this out: I will use “him” and “her” when referring to issues of sex, and one of the other unconstrained pronouns for issues of gender. Sex is biological; gender is cultural. They should not be confused. Thanks.
Opened X this morning to see endless attacks on Tesla and Musk. First, credit to @elonmusk for not censoring. Second, they sound more desperate as Nov 6th approaches. Thanks.
