Cassidy’s abortion pill regulation report now released and the U.S. Fifth Circuit hearing Louisiana’s case for stronger abortion drug safety regulations, here’s what AAPLOG’s undercover investigation found that abortion advocates aren’t telling you 👇 • Abortion drugs can be ordered online with no direct interaction with a physician. • Women can self-report how far along they are, often without an ultrasound to confirm gestational age, including pregnancies approaching the second trimester. • AidAccess and other websites repeatedly emphasize that the drugs are “safe,” while providing limited information about potential risks and complications. • Abortion drugs can be ordered in advance, even by abusers and even if a woman is not currently pregnant. • Important medical conditions and warning signs, including ectopic pregnancy, medical conditions, and past cesarean sections, aren’t thoroughly evaluated. • Women taking abortion drugs later in pregnancy face a significantly higher risk of needing surgical intervention if the drugs fail.
