I still get so emotional every time I see Aang’s statue. the legacy he left on the world by establishing peace after a century of war that took away his entire nation will always be so incredible 😭

and i like to think that sokka made aang another hat eventually, because he just loves him so much 🥹

"he did not know how much more this temple could take. he did not know how much more he could take. was it not enough for the world to have attacked his people? they had to continue attacking what was left of his home too?” — from the legend of aang novel

silly little aang

#AangWeek2026 — Day 2: Grief

knowing there is still more of aang’s story for us to discover beyond what we got in the movie makes me so excited to read this novel!!

LOOK AT AANG’S DIMPLES AND SWEET KIND SMILE

happy national boyfriend day to aang, aka mr. katara himself

adult aang and sonic racing is a sentence I never thought I’d type 😭

Aang carried the weight of the world in this movie, but he never forgot how to make his friends laugh

this tiktok editor casually dropping the most beautiful adult aang edit ever!!!

aang really used to be so little

no matter how many times I watch this scene, I can’t get over Aang’s performance here. The way he bends all four elements into harmony…it’s not just bending, it’s a magical dance

Aang our beloved.

Aang’s physical transformation as he grew up is so insane, but what I love the most is how his eyes remain full of kindness and hope

i love that momo and aang have the same facial expressions 😭 he’s hard at work reading the documents too — art posted by kihyunryu

let’s be curious with baba

someone put "Mound Bayou" from the Sinners soundtrack over the Aang/Gyatso + Air Nomads scene from the movie and I am actually gagged. it completely reframes and deepens the entire scene. I need more like this I fear
