"It's sickening! What you're effectively saying is you have no problem with your tax dollars going to BOMB hospitals and school cause they didn't vote with you!?"

Democratic Party strategists ignored voter concerns on Biden’s age and inflation, just as they dismissed outrage over Gaza. They retreat into condescension instead of listening. Instead of engaging voters they need to defeat MAGA, elitism pushes them further away.

This must not get overlooked amid the insanity of Trump’s Gaza takeover comments.
Just because Trump is eager to be a war criminal doesn’t mean Netanyahu intends to stop being one.

No one wants another indefinite U.S. military occupation in the Middle East or anywhere else. This is ethnic cleansing – and this is Palestinian land, not ours. The best path for long-term peace and security is a two-state solution.

Trump’s Gaza ethnic cleansing plan reflects the same disregard for Palestinian rights that has handicapped US policy for decades. He’s making the same mistake as past administrations, just in a bigger and uglier way.

You heartless person. Why don’t you actually ask the Palestinians what they want to do and where they want to live. They aren’t cattle you move here and there.

Palestinian American analyst @OmarBaddar says Trump's ethnic cleansing plan for Gaza is "lunacy" but warns the status quo is also unsustainable. With the U.S. continuing to support Israel's violence, "we are heading to the complete destruction of Palestinian society in Gaza."

During negotiations with the DNC and the Harris campaign, we were repeatedly told by interlocutors that Harris couldn’t meet any of our basic requests (a policy shift from Biden, a Palestinian speaker at the DNC, a statement distinguishing herself from Trump on Israel, or even a meeting with Michigan families who lost loved ones to Israeli bombs) because of AIPAC-aligned politicians like Fetterman, who might take to TV, rile up suburban white and Jewish voters, and fracture the party’s coalition in a swing state.
That political calculus alienated a key voting bloc, although likely not large enough to have shifted the ultimate election outcomes, that should be part of a durable Democratic majority. But few will ever be held accountable for that choice.
A Fetterman staffer condemning Uncommitted for not advocating for Palestinians 'the right way' is like an arsonist scolding the fire department for using the wrong hose.

Hard to take this seriously because 1) it’s a lie; 2) Fetterman backs Trump’s proposal and you've said nothing; 3) most disaffected MI voters over Gaza weren’t leftists but non-college mods alienated by unpopular Dem policies, voters who must be won back.

“The inexplicable reality I was experiencing, being disempowered from engaging our communities to block Trump, that kind of prioritization of the donor class over the working class was happening across our country. The problem the Democratic Party has is systemic.“ -@AZAlawieh

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip”
We feared this human rights catastrophe in Gaza would be the inevitable outcome of the Netanyahu regime’s collective punishment onslaught.
We were criticized for voicing it a year ago. Now Trump is casually saying it out loud.

"After boasting that he achieved his goal of a ceasefire by his inauguration, Trump may lose interest in reining in Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
The deal may last through the first phase of 42 days but beyond that, Netanyahu promised Smotrich that the fighting would resume"
And Trump will support Israel no matter what it does, just like Biden.

Notable that last night, both Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock—perhaps the two most vulnerable Senators in the caucus—voted to block the sale of weapons to Israel.

Remarkable video in which Democratic Senator John Fetterman outwardly says Israel was actively refusing the ceasefire *and* that they have “eliminated and broken” Hamas…which may lead one to ask: why are they still bombing Gaza — and who does Fetterman think they’re bombing now?

Dearborn will arrest Netanyahu & Gallant if they step within Dearborn city limits.
Others cities should declare the same. Our president may not take action, but city leaders can ensure Netanyahu & other war criminals are not welcome to travel freely across these United States.

Thank you @ChrisVanHollen for supporting this initiative to block weapons sales to the Israeli government ahead of this week's vote.
Every Senator should vote to block these lethal weapons that have been fueling the Israeli government’s genocide.
