Years ago I made an intake form for lettering/logo projects. It's never actually helped focus in on direction, but I still use it from time to time because it does a great job of introducing type concepts to new clients. @kevintwohy's podcast with @ridd_design reminded me of it!

Over the time that I used it, most clients basically selected all the available options! But the upside was that it was fun to fill out the form, and it added a whole vocabulary to all of our conversations.

Some recent things… We created a new alphabet to mark the seats at the San Francisco Opera House. 🎭 I’ve been drawing moons for a new project. 🌙 Our toddler’s school said parents had to label their child’s clothing using a font they designed. 👖 Baby Lewis is growing! 👶
