Guess the root cause - A problem involving a #Salesforce flow!
An admin built and deployed a record-trigger flow with multiple GET RECORDS and multiple UPDATE elements on the same set of records (non-bulkified). This flow in Prod significantly affected the system's performance.
A gap in SF governance: While the senior developer committee mandated a thorough review of Apex and LWC development, the declarative development, including flows, was not included. The flows were peer-reviewed by other admins with similar skill levels.
Key Takeaway: While #Salesforce provides a user-friendly development environment, it's the architect's responsibility to establish robust governance policies. This includes not just Apex or LWC but all forms of declarative development, as we saw in this issue.
🚀"Growth" is why I chose to learn #Salesforce. With Trailhead, I kept expanding my knowledge day by day, and that helped me grow as an admin, a BA, a dev, and now an architect over the past few years. What a rewarding journey! #mysalesforcegoals
