There has been a negative trend in the podcasting industry lurking in the background for the last couple of years. It's been spreading slowly, so I've quietly worked to fight against it on my own. But, more recently, it's started to accelerate, and I see it quickly becoming one of the biggest problems in the industry if it's not addressed! (I know I'm being very vague and careful about how much I share here because many of the people involved on the wrong side of the negative trend are watching.) WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER: I realize now that I waited too long to speak up about this, and it's become a bigger problem than I can solve on my own. This negative trend will require many coaches, influencers, and educators in the podcasting space to come together and agree on a solution. So basically, I'm asking for the Avengers of Podcasting to assemble! Haha! I'VE GOT AN IDEA: For the sake of being proactive, I've already laid out the groundwork for an idea. Now, I just need to bring the right people together to make it happen! JOIN ME FOR A TOWN HALL: If you're a podcast coach, influencer, or educator (or know one), please let me know if you'd be open to joining a 45-minute town hall. (I've got nothing for sale, and nothing to sign up for.) Let me know if you'd be willing to be part of this!
