Do the promises God made to Abraham belong to a modern nation-state?
Does Genesis oblige American Christians to bankroll a foreign government?
Is the church an interruption in God’s plan or the object of it?
Did the Old Testament’s prophecies skip over Christ and the church just to land on the evening news?
Did Jesus die to make a new people or to reappoint an old one?
What no one told you is that these ideas are modern inventions, smuggled into the American church through the footnotes of one study Bible.
For nineteen centuries, these questions had obvious answers.

Today I had to put down my dog Axle today, who I got at 8 weeks old on my 19th birthday 11 years ago. He was honestly the nicest dog and showed me the Lord through God's creation daily. Thank you Lord for Axle and giving me my best friend. Good boy Axle I will miss you forever!

You cannot cover your sin, and you cannot hide from God. There is no hope in either. Our only hope is in the grace and mercy of God, given to us in His Son Jesus Christ, whose righteous life and sacrificial death removes our sin and wraps us in Christ Himself and His righteousness. Run to Him, not from Him.
