surprisingly, while derek is a very active man. he enjoys reading too. sitting in a comfortable spot, with a blanket and cup of tea, he can sit and read a book in an entire day. it’s a nice bit of self care that he tends to neglect, in favor of pushing himself via running.

though the wolf can be soft, and taffy sweet with those he cares about. there is a bit of lingering darkness, anger. a sharpness that he’ll fall back on, in times where he feels a loss of control. it’s a terrible defense mechanism, but it’s ingrained in his very being.
