Grain Rain (谷雨 ) is the 6th solar term and the last term in spring, in Chinese calendar. It more often refers to the day when the Sun is exactly at the celestial longitude of 30°, which usually comes on April 19-21. This year,  Grain Rain comes on 4/20 1:07am ET.

2/19 Rain water, the 2nd solar term in Chinese calendar, signals the increase in rainfall and rise in temperature. With its arrival, lively spring-like scenery starts blossoming: the river water defreezes, wild geese move from south to north, and trees and grass turn green again.
