Last week, the SHER Lab (& friends) had an impromptu shinny game. I’m willing to bet we are the best lab-based hockey team on @usask campus! 😉🏒

They say when you become a PI, you don’t get in the lab as much anymore… but I guess some things never change! #protocoltesting #biomechanics #shoulderhealthandergonomicsresearch
A peek* at what happens in the SHER lab every day!
We are stilling recruiting breast cancer survivors for our current research!
Replying to @USaskCCRAH
The SHER Lab is recruiting for a study on breast cancer treatment, surgery, and upper limb pain. If you've had a mastectomy, you may be eligible! Contact Dr. Lang ([email protected]) or Dr. Friesen ([email protected]) for more info. Please share!
It was a pleasure to create this resource with our talented team! 🎀💪
🎉 New resource alert! 🎉 Dr. Angelica Lang and the SHER Lab have created a must-read booklet on upper limb musculoskeletal health for breast cancer survivors. Perfect for patients, survivors, and clinicians. Check it out! bit.ly/3VM8zBt

What a great morning at the CIBC Run for the Cure! 🎀
Thank you to the organizers who allowed us to connect with breast cancer survivors about our study of upper limb muscle and joint health after treatment.
Contact [email protected] for more information!
I am happy to share that my lab is able to continue our research with breast cancer survivors - please share!
Our goal is to better understand how different surgeries and treatments affect function and injury risk.
Reach out if you have any questions!

Dr. Angelica Lang was recently invited to present at the @SaskMiningAssoc Industrial Hygiene Focus group, hosted at the Orano Saskatoon office. Dr. Lang showcased her lab's capabilities and the Shoulder Health and Ergonomics Research group's ongoing ergonomics research.
A well deserved recognition. 😍Congratulations @mcintose!!
In 2023 The Douglas MacRae Award 🏆of Courage💜 was created by Brain Cancer Canada and Marie Anne MacRae (Douglas’ wife). Doug joined Brain Cancer Canada as an ambassador while he was in the throes of his experience with GBM. He was an artist, photographer, motorcycle racer, and world traveler.
The award acknowledges individuals who demonstrate humility and kindness, who work selflessly to improve human welfare, have a positive impact on community, and demonstrate grit and fierce resilience in the face of adversity.
Last year’s gala, @DrMDCusimano was presented with the inaugural award.
This year, the award will be presented to Emily McIntosh, PhD in Biomechanics, BCC Ambassador, patient advocate, and brain cancer survivor and thriver.
Emily embodies and exudes every characteristic that this award represents. Her tenacity, humility, kindness, sense of humour, knowledge, commitment, and shear brilliance are gifts to everyone she interacts with.
Brain Cancer Canada is profoundly grateful for her contributions.
Join us this September 26th, at Paramount Event Space as Marie Anne MacRae honours Emily with the Douglas MacRae Award of Courage at the 2024 Gala for Brain Cancer Research:
