Pumpfun has officially lost the plot. I'm not sure what their endgame is here, but I know for a fact that nobody is going to read “Be the next Kimchi” and suddenly feel an overwhelming urge to sign up for Pumpfun and start buying shitters. I never thought we'd reach the point where this needs explaining, but absolutely nobody outside CT knows who Kimchi is. And a good chunk of CT knows that the whole “made $40M trading Trump” story is straight up larp and what he was actually doing, was deploying and rugging coins 24/7. The fact that, out of every ace this multibillion-dollar company could have up its sleeve, they chose to make Kimchi their poster boy speaks volumes about how out of touch they are with the space, the community that made them what they are, and the outside world as a whole. I'm telling you, there isn't a single normal adult who wakes up in the morning wanting to “trade internet trends.” Not a single one. Because what the fuck does trading internet trends even mean? These guys made their bread from memecoins, and whatever name they built for themselves in this industry was a direct consequence of coins that actually went somewhere. Pumpfun wouldn't have taken off the way it did without Sharkcat, and it wouldn't have captured the market share it did during AI season without GOAT and Fartcoin launching there. People buying “internet trends” with a lifespan of 24 hours, only to get thrown into endless PvP against increasingly sophisticated players across a dozen different pairs, is precisely why Pumpfun struggles to break into the mainstream and onboard retail that actually STAYS. And these absolute idiots have somehow decided to make that their entire selling point. You genuinely couldn't make this shit up. The average person Pumpfun is supposedly trying to onboard is drowning in bills, trying to make ends meet, and navigating a society that's becoming increasingly isolated. He doesn't give a fuck about speculating on internet trends. He probably doesn't even recognize most of them. What he wants, whether he realizes it or not, is to feel like he belongs somewhere. A place where he can make internet friends who share his humor, aesthetics, and beliefs. Somewhere he can log in after a shitty day, talk shit with like-minded people, and actually feel like he's part of something. A fucking community. And the funny thing is that memecoins, of all things, can genuinely provide that. I think people massively underestimate how many guys are sitting at their desks right now, aimlessly scrolling the internet, who would happily spend money to be part of an online community where they can make friends, share jokes, and rally behind something together. Take NEET, for example. I'm convinced that if you explained the whole “not open to work” movement to a thousand normies, a surprisingly large percentage would find the idea of joining a global community of people who share that attitude genuinely appealing. Now imagine telling them there's also a coin attached to that movement, and that if enough people rally behind it, they can potentially make money together. That's a much easier sell than asking them to gamble on whichever celebrity happened to tweet something stupid fifteen minutes ago. And it's not just NEET. Think of all the internet subcultures, recognizable characters, aesthetics, and movements that people can actually identify with. Things that give someone a reason to hold a coin, talk about it, make content around it, and bring their friends into it without needing a new catalyst every six hours. That's how you build something that lasts. Instead of building their campaign around any of that, Pumpfun decided to spend millions telling people they could become the next Kimchi, a complete nobody to the audience they're supposedly trying to attract, and inviting them to gamble on internet trends. They actually spent millions of dollars on this stunt. It's genuinely incredible how disconnected they've become from reality, their own customer base, and seemingly basic common sense. My father used to always tell me to never attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity. And I'd genuinely love to attribute Pumpfun's incompetence to stupidity, but that's not the case here. They've made hundreds of millions from coins that people actually wanted to own. Coins that went to hundreds of millions in market cap, made entire communities rich, and brought thousands of new people into the ecosystem. They know this model works because it's the very model that made them rich. But if having everyone PvP the same Elon tweet through twelve different pairings and launch modes means they can squeeze another 10% out of trading fees, I'm increasingly convinced they'll happily sacrifice everything else to get it. And at this point, it's becoming pretty difficult to pretend otherwise. I think there are fatigue signals everywhere, and every day we're getting a little closer to the end of the Pumpfun dynasty despite a bunch of terminal badges trying day and night to convince you otherwise. Someone will eventually build a place where people actually want to stay, where communities are worth more than the fees generated from destroying them. And when that happens, I genuinely don't think Pumpfun will understand why everyone left.

GM Redemption arcs hit deep. Privledged to be part of one of the best ones ever for one of the best to ever do it. @TibaneLabs & @MagicalTux are creating infra for @Solana and working on bleeding edge R&D for basically the entire crypto landscape as a whole. Very easy for you to join the story and support in a direct way with just a little bit of DYOR (hint: it’s in the pinned post on the Tibane X) 😸

I'm not sure MtGox has anything to do with that. You received multiple reports of implants in early 2026, and by March you published an article that showed both the hand-made style of implants Joe Grand saw (with the improvised LTE antenna) and the high budget mass produced self-aligning implant. As a security company I have no doubt everyone at Ledger understands what that means: someone is serious about attacking the product. This is a five-alarm fire in the making and without an immediate and appropriate response it could turn into something really bad. So there was a response, but I doubt anyone will find it reasonably appropriate. It does one thing however: it documents Ledger knew about this advanced type of implant in March - the picture is on your site. And if you really think I have no standing talking about this because of MtGox let me add this. I was hoping you guys were better than that. I've been holding Ledger at a higher standard than what happened at MtGox, because I trusted you to do better by learning of my failure - to be better than me. And I'm pretty sure everyone in the industry, especially your customers, have been considering Ledger to be at the very top of the industry in terms of security and disclosure policies and trusting you accordingly. Now I am not sure what to think, not only because of the lack of communication at the time but also because of the continuing downplaying of this incident. I did notice some positive, such as better involvement of the Ledger X account, but also I've seen a lot of people complain they are not receiving responses and you keep calling this the CryptoBilis incident despite similar implants surfacing at other locations (there might be a good reason for that, but a end user doesn't know that, and shouldn't have to worry if their device is altered or not).

Erasing old history, welcome to the new world order The same architecture is such a threat to the new world order leaders I wonder why Survived 2WW just to be erased by the “rioters”/immigrants
🇫🇷🔥 Limoges city hall set on fire by rioters at the end of the Oct. 17 protest; the bell tower collapsed and the prefect says the building is "largely lost" Rioters attacked Limoges' hôtel de ville late Saturday afternoon after the Oct. 17 cost-of-living march, breaking windows and setting fire to the ground floor; cars were also burned outside. Firefighters arrived shortly after 6 p.m., and the flames reached the roof around 7 p.m. and were still burning at 8:10 p.m. The 43-meter bell tower collapsed. Prefect Maurice Barate said the roof fell onto the lower floors except in the west wing and two-thirds of the facade had disappeared, calling the building "largely lost," a "heritage catastrophe" and a "deliberate act" by rioters. The 19th-century building, opened in 1883 and inspired by Paris's city hall, is a listed monument. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez confirmed the fire; Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said "we will not be intimidated." Earlier in Limoges, fireworks mortars were fired at police near the A20 interchange, a police vehicle was burned and shops were looted. Reported by AFP, franceinfo, Europe 1 and Flash FM. NOT CONFIRMED: Which artworks and decorations inside have been destroyed. Claims that works by Henri-Paul Motte, Jean-Joseph Weerts and Urbain Bourgeois are definitively lost have not been confirmed by officials, and no inventory has been published. I also found no figure on injuries or arrests in Limoges. Saturday's national mobilization against the cost of living drew a very large turnout, with CNews reporting more than 550,000 demonstrators, while violence was concentrated in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Limoges, including a brief break-in at Marseille's city hall. The loss of a historic city hall turns a day of mostly peaceful marches into a symbolic national event and will dominate the political response. What to watch: the official damage and heritage assessment once the fire is out, arrests and charges for arson, the government's response including any new security measures, and whether the unions and student groups distance themselves from the violence. So it's clear, I would not have written this if not for Ledger's shitty conduct, and how they tried to minimize the incident $100M was stolen through an authorized reseller, THEY vetted and had on their network What followed was them essentially ignoring it and minimizing it as much as possible Look at this interaction of Ledger's CEO and Mark Mark points out how terrible they communicate things and Ledger's CEO effectively responds with: "So what?" Not even trying to hide that it was done this way intentionally
This is not a "How" it happened, this is "How" everyone reacted Ledger claims they've never been compromised, and minimizes this incident, and I refuse to let that be. Enjoy the article!

This guy had the chance to be humble and support his customers but instead he chose to attack Mark who basically discovered the implants and helped ppl using Ledger all over the globe for days. That tells a lot...
I should have said that your track record as CEO makes that you lack credibility in judging such events. Your experience of total failure doesn't make you an expert in judging Ledger's situation. And also... You are no white knight. I stand by that. We can talk next week as planned, I don't mind a strong conversation, I am available.

Character is the most important thing u can have without a doubt
Life has so much more to offer than money. If your entire identity revolves around how much you earn or own, you’ll always be chasing something and never feel truly fulfilled. Your character, passions, health, relationships, and the experiences you create matter just as much, if not more. None of those things can be bought with money alone. Money is a means to give yourself more freedom and build the life you want, not something that should determine your worth as a person.
