A Google Developer Expert just published the most detailed guide to becoming an AI engineer I have seen.
Not a pile of lessons, but a separate route for each specialty, and the course walks you through it.
523 lessons across 20 phases, free and MIT licensed. Linear algebra at the bottom, multi-agent swarms at the top, around 342 hours end to end. Code in Python, TypeScript, Rust and Julia.
You never start at lesson one. You pick a destination and it hands you the path:
> New to all of it, phase 0.
> Already know Python, phase 1.
> Want to ship production LLM apps, phase 11.
> Want agents, phase 14.
> Want MCP or Agent Skills, phase 13.
There is a route for using coding agents on real repositories, one for deciding what to build before you build it, and one for Claude certification prep.
Every lesson runs the same shape. You write the algorithm from raw math with no frameworks first, then run the same thing through PyTorch. By the time the library appears you already know what it does.
And each lesson leaves something behind: a prompt, a skill, an agent or an MCP server. One command installs them into Claude, Cursor, Codex or anything reading SKILL.md.

Google engineer:
“Just uninstall your IDE—you don’t need it anymore. 85% of PRs at Google are already shipped by AI agents.
In 2026, if you’re still only prompting instead of building agent harnesses, it’s crazy how far behind you are.”
In a 1-hour talk, a Google engineer with 30 years of experience explains what AI engineering looks like after prompting.
Model → Harness → Feedback → Reliable Software
Worth more than 10 paid agentic engineering courses.
Watch it today, then read the full guide below to build your first production-grade agent harness ↓

Bloom is open source, free, and will remain free.
Oh, maybe I marked it as Postcardware 📬
You know what that means right 😄

The easiest way to find out which models you can run on your computer:
Just run:
- 𝗻𝗽𝗺 𝗶 -𝗴 @𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘃/𝗰𝗹𝗶
- 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽
It profiles your machine and ranks the models across:
- Speed
- Accuracy
- Intelligence
- Memory required
Finally, you can choose your favorite harness (Pi, OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to run with it.
Get started here: github.com/magnitudedev/magn…
(don't forget to star 🌟)
I also wrote a detailed article on running your favorite harnesses with local models. The article is quoted below.

spent 5 days building semantic memory for @laravel Boost.
embeddings. search. all the fancy AI stuff.
then i deleted the whole thing because markdown + grep was better 😭

Anthropic hired this engineer at $250K-$750K a year because he knows how to build harnesses for multi-agent systems
In this 15-minute workshop, he shows exactly how to build one from scratch
AI → Agents → Harness → Loops → Graphs
step 1 → start with the Claude Agent SDK - the harness handles loops, context, and sandboxing
step 2 → separate the brain from the hands - reasoning in one place, tools in a sandbox, 60% faster to first token
step 3 → run it server-side and log every step - close your laptop and it keeps running, crashes resume from the log
step 4 → make failure cheap - retry dead sandboxes and replay lost context instead of starting over
step 5 → turn yesterday's logs into new memory and skills - the harness wakes up smarter
Anthropic calls this "dreaming"
Most people spend weeks building this by hand
You don't have to

He is 17 already builds LLM solutions for Anthropic and Microsoft and makes $200k+ a month - and at Stanford shared how:
00:12 - how Opus 5 builds an LLM solution that Anthropic will buy for millions
28:34 - LLM agent that replaces 50 engineers - how to build it in 60 minutes
49:47 - how to reach $200k a month at 17 with no experience building LLM
after watching I realized the LLM solution I had been putting off for years - Opus 5 builds it in an hour and sells it for $100k in a week.
save & watch - the article below is a step by step guide to build an LLM solution and sell it to Anthropic or Microsoft.

Here’s how to build an AI agent from scratch in pure Python.
No LangChain, no agent framework.
We’ll add memory, tool calling, file access, shell commands, and the agent loop until we have a mini Claude Code.

I'm hiring a SWE intern for Pinetree Research, and the salary is $300K
Before you ask: 300K annualized. And no, we don't want your resume, coverletter, or grades
Here's how to apply:
1. Fork the Solari repo: github.com/solari-sdk/solari…
2. Build a real use case with Solari (browsers, sandboxes, and/or desktops)
3. Publish it on a public Github account
4. Share it in a post on LinkedIn or X
Tag @harrychow_ and @getsolari
Use AI to build it. Seriously, we insist. We don’t care how you ship, we care that you can ship something great, and if you can ship if faster with AI, even better. (@im_roy_lee)
What happens next:
- We review every build that tags us
- If we like what you made, we schedule an interview
- If you're the right fit, we'll hire you on the spot
Know someone who can take on the challenge? Tag them below
For questions about Solari or the role, comment below or DM 🚀
May the best dev win
