It’s hard for me to say whether all these statements are just political posturing, but it would seem that there is a real, imminent problem - one serious enough to mobilize several European countries in such a short time.
The times ahead seem particularly bleak, and I hope I’m wrong. In any case, European governments and leaders seem concerned about something (presumably involving Russia) where we don’t know exactly what will happen or where it will take place.

Vertige de la gravité des situations au Moyen-Orient et en Ukraine, de la folie prédatrice qui mène le monde au chaos. Vertige des risques et conséquences sur notre sécurité, notre économie, notre pouvoir d’achat. Vertige de tous ces candidats qui rêvent, sans retenue, sûrs de leur fait et de leurs postures, de gouverner la France dans cette époque et cette situation historique et grave. Notre démocratie, notre pays doivent déjà faire face aujourd’hui et devront faire front demain. Plus que jamais je me battrai, à ma modeste place, pour que la France ne cède pas son destin aux egos délirants, aux va-t-en guerre de salon, aux pacifistes de pacotille et aux soumis de la facilité et de la peur. La France doit plus que jamais être forte. Nous devons tous y contribuer. L’avantage du vertige, c’est qu’il vous rappelle de ne pas tomber. @PartiRadicalG

The gap is wild.
Explaining doesn't work. Showing them AI built games doesn't work.
Software developers are blown away because AI can do our job better and faster.
- when robots build an entire house in 24 hours, the construction worker will get it.
- when robots cook the food perfect every time, the chefs will understand.
- when robots run into a burning building and save a family, the firefighters will understand too.
people don't get it yet because they can't see what is coming as clearly as we can.
