THIS WILL BE INCREDIBLE TO SEE!!! Flight 15 could feature the first DOUBLE CATCH! That's right! Both ship and booster could be caught. This obviously means it'd be an orbital mission again too, so this will easily be the most exciting mission to date! I can't wait!!!

After more than 15 years in orbit, @NOAA will be deorbiting the Suomi NPP satellite starting on Dec. 1, 2026. This will be done by gradually lowering its orbit before it reenters Earth’s atmosphere over the South Pacific Ocean. Suomi NPP was a pathfinding mission to demonstrate the capabilities of NOAA's JPSS constellation. The data provided by Suomi NPP are now operationally delivered by NOAA-20 and NOAA-21. 1/x According to current orbital elements, the Russian #KOSMOS 2612 satellite is now within 1-2 km of #ICEYE-X36. Based on current elements, it might come within meters of the latter within a few hours from now. This is an #RPO without consent. (cont.)

Newly-discovered asteroid 8NIQ001 approached from the daytime sky. It wasn't discovered until after a close approach of ~1000 km above the Arctic. The size of a compact car, it would have caused no damage had it hit. #astro πŸ”

The jellyfish today was the best I’ve seen. You could follow Falcon 9 all the way to orbit too. This is unedited. @spacex @nasa
