One of the nation’s top incoming freshmen was back home putting his talent on display.
Before heading to Kansas, Davion Adkins developed into one of the country’s premier frontcourt prospects. The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Arlington native elevated his game at Prolific Prep, earning 4-star status while establishing himself as one of the top power forwards in the 2026 class.
Now set to begin his college career with the Jayhawks, Adkins returned to DFW and reminded everyone why he’s one of the most highly regarded young bigs in the country.
From Arlington to one of college basketball’s most storied programs, the next chapter of his journey is just beginning.

KOBE BRYANT ON MENTAL TOUGHNESS
🎯 “Being mentally tough means you can take your mind someplace else.
Concentrate on that other thing to the point where the thing that was bothering you is no longer a focus and you don’t feel it anymore.”

Davion Adkins (Prolific Prep) just brought down the HOUSE.
Emphatic slam and an unreal finish. Dunked all over a bystanding defender.
