We're caling on @MayorShengThao to put an end to the corrupt gaslighting tactics of #Athletics owner #JohnFisher, #RobManfred, & @MLB.
We're also calling on the NATIONAL news, to speak up about the corruption happening in Oakland, & the theft of a community's ballclub.

Devs learning JavaScript get stuck on new syntax like "{...a}". Search engines (even Brave!) don't give useful results. Devs don't know to search for "spread syntax." MDN has great results but devs often don't think to try it. Named methods are easier to search and so to learn.

#FunFact Tic-Tac-Toe is mechanically equivalent to having 9 cards numbered 1-9, and letting 2 players take turns drafting cards with the goal of getting 3 cards whose sum is exactly 15.

This is what i've been working on these past few years and I'm excited it's finally 1.0!
Both because it's a new internationalization library for Rust, and because it's got a bunch of cool things about how it's very flexible when it loads data

Fresh Rust blog posts! Just published a three part series on the crates I've been working on in the context of zero-copy deserialization
Part 1 is on the docs.rs/yoke crate, which makes working with borrowed types easier via "lifetime erasure"

I'm a bit unhappy with the degree of hyperbole and unreasonable fear mongering going on with krebsonsecurity.com/2021/11/…
Interesting research, but it isn't new... Folks have been discussing unicode, bidi, and homoglyphs as forms of underhanded code bypassing review for many years.
