Blade Runner 2049 is an iconic sci-fi franchise with very strict copyright rules. It has never done a story crossover with another game, especially not a romance game like Love and Deepspace.
This crossover doesn't feel forced at all. The two worlds share the same deep ideas.
Blade Runner has always asked: Is the love of an android real? Do artificial beings with memories and emotions deserve the right to exist?
The male leads in Love and Deepspace are also lives created from code. Is the love between them and us, living in the real world, truly real?

It perfectly connects with the film's most famous philosophical questions.
