Hi everyone 👋
I’m currently exploring new Senior / Staff / Lead iOS Engineering opportunities. If you know of a role that could be a fit, I’d really appreciate an introduction or quick chat (DMs are open).
A little about me:
- 12+ years in iOS engineering across Atlassian, Disney+ Hotstar, Compass, Over (now GoDaddy), and Fueled, with 25+ shipped iOS apps
- Built products and features for apps like Jira, Confluence, Disney+ Hotstar, Compass, ClearMe, Canon, LeCar, Wandr, Smash, and many more
- Strong in mobile platform engineering too, built shared foundations (networking, caching, app startup), improved app performance, and automated release workflows (CI/CD), with cross-platform experience across Android, KMP, and React Native
- Remote since 2018, collaborating across US / EU / AUS time zones, and active in the iOS community through writing, talks, and open-source work
I’m open to both full-time and contract roles, including remote (world wide) & hybrid (Delhi NCR) opportunities.
P.S. If your intro leads to my next role, I’ll gift you the lifetime access to the AI experience I’m cooking right now.
For your weekend reading: Build with Pi Durable on Cloudflare, a walkthrough of how to create a multiplayer chat agent, including subagents, on Durable Objects.

dot has been running my inbox for weeks now & can recommend it! it highlights just the right things.
thats why I like the orchestrator pattern where I can ask any follow ups, side chat etc to the lead without interrupting the actual work & the actual executors only gets steered via lead when needed.
I find the latest models write a lot of unit tests. Most of them restate the code they were written after, so they always pass and catch almost nothing. They run fast, but they break on every refactor and the agent burns time fixing tests instead of the feature.
The prompt I used to clean out mine, adopted from Ansh is:
"This repo is full of low-signal unit tests. Delete every one that wouldn't catch a real bug our E2E tests miss. Fan the work out across parallel subagents.
Then add these rules to AGENTS.md so future agents stop writing them.
- Never write unit tests after you write code.
- Highly prefer E2E tests as the sole testing mechanism. Use them to verify complex features work. At the end of E2E tests, produce a verifiable and repeatable artifact.
- If you must test a system in isolation, first write down all the ways it could fail, then write the code."

Ghostty (and libghostty) now fully implement the Kitty clipboard protocol to allow apps to read/write non-textual data (like images!). Ghostty is the first to implement the full protocol outside Kitty. The biggest program to support this is probably Claude Code. Demo below.
This will be part of Ghostty 1.4, available in nightly now. Available in libghostty now.
I might have experienced this with openwhispr.com too which also fails to transcribe at times & resetting the microphone settings seems to fix it
It's super annoying that Mac switches my default microphone and speaker source each time I connect/disconnect my Air Pods.
I was going to vibe code a solution to this but @tobi already did it 8 months ago!
Highly recomend downloading Audio Priority Bar here: github.com/tobi/AudioPriorit…
That's a small reminder! 👇
As of June 2026, HTTP has a new method - a GET with a `body` 😎
Meet QUERY (RFC 10008).
It lets you send complex queries in the body (like POST) while staying safe, idempotent, and cacheable (like GET). Already works on servers (Node.js, Go, Laravel…).
Browsers are still adding full support, usable now with care, with widespread adoption coming later in 2026+.
good things take time! this one went for 5h straight & did end to end testing, pretty satisfied with the outcome.
another great documentary channel, this one on design youtube.com/@design-docs

It took Apple 15 years to add the Markdown UTI to the iOS SDK. Fascinating nit given how Markdown shaped the world of documents

cross-platform SwiftUI swiftcrossui.dev is probably BETTER way to ship great app than Electron slop. quite amazed how the project evolved 🥰
