My new favourite group of people are the ones who back projects such as perpetual motion machines on kickstarter just so they can access the comments to attempt to explain why it's never going to work to whatever poor sap (or conman) thought it was possible.

Honest question to anyone out there who may have a better grasp of this than I do: what *is* gender to you beyond having a body that you're comfortable in and having people respect your pronouns?

I understand gender dymorphism... but I struggle to understand the distinction between gender and gender roles past existing in a body one is comfortable with.

It's not much, but I know that institutional racism and generational trauma (due to racism and unequal rights) put kids of colour at higher risk in a lot of school boards.

And I have no idea how to fix this shit-show of a society, but maybe I can give some overwhelmed parents a little peace and a kid a bit of anbetter chance (and a friend).

Update:
Today I looked at @kingstownRG's toothbrush and thought "wow, thise few bristles look weird, maybe he needs a new toothbrush". Friends, they were not bristles. They were spider legs.
