Choklisons should stay the fuck out of captaincy debates. For 15 years every ipl team handed him his ass and had zero achivements internationally. Yet when it comes to dickriding these clowns are always first in line.
If I’m being honest, Rohit Sharma is far, far better captain than MS Dhoni. Rohit has beaten Dhoni several times in IPL finals, and everyone has seen how he has pulled off some close wins against CSK in finals.
Secondly, MSD has captained India in 10 ICC tournaments. Out of those 10, he won only 3 and lost 7. If any captain loses 7 ICC tournaments, you simply cannot call him the greatest captain ever.
Dhoni was lucky that social media wasn’t as influential during his time as it is today. Otherwise, he would have lost the captaincy and would have been dropped from the team as well. And don’t forget, Dhoni was the first captain to lose to Pakistan in an ICC tournament. On top of that, he also lost ODI, T20I, and Test series against Pakistan at home. But Dhoni fans will never tell you any of this.
And when it comes to batting, Rohit is miles ahead of Dhoni. This is not even worth discussing.
