My favourite thing about this comp is that we basically saw him receive under pressure and create something from almost every area of the pitch— left flank, right flank, in his own half, zone 14. Insane footballer, most obvious success

In no other scenario would a team be platformed like this after being found guilty of arguably the most highly orchestrated cheating scandal in sporting history.
You might call it an elephant in the room. This is actually 114 of them. They bring a few bananas, win a few games & MOTD talk like this? Shambolic.
The BBC's purpose is to ‘provide impartial, high-quality & distinctive output & services which inform & educate’. Is this anything resembling that? (No)
When we say sportswashing, this is it right here.

The chocolate baby represents #FBA Black America. How people didn't see our value until the end. When they found out that our culture and style was top notch they all wanted to be down. But no we seperated ourselves and shook them haters off. Watch until the end 🤔🫡
city supporters (and, to a lesser extent, the players) are close to facing some of the harshest punishments this sport has ever seen for something none of us had any involvement in doing. if we want to wave inflatable bananas, do some rage bait chants, and self deprecate in response to that, we will.
this ISN’T a call for violins or (unwanted) sympathy for city supporters. it also isn’t a plea for you believe the club don’t ‘deserve’ punishment - if rules were broken, rules were broken. i’m also not here to tell you you can’t feel wronged by our board if their actions have wronged your club. not my place or intent to dictate your feelings.
what i am pointing out, though, is just because YOU want US to do this performative, depressive, grovelling and begging for forgiveness for something we, as fans or players, had NO involvement in, it doesn’t mean we should.
self deprication and resorting to humour and jokes is something city supporters have done for decades. we choose to respond to objectively naff situations (like facing threats of expulsion from the football pyramid) in this way, as is our right. hell, even after winning the treble we still chant about never winning home or away and losing last week as well as today ffs.
you don’t have to like it. but if believe we should pack in something that’s become a staple trait of city supporters just because it doesn’t align with your world view or moral compass that you think is gospel, then respectfully you really need to give your head a wobble🍌
Replying to @BBCMOTD
I don’t think the Man City team and fans actually understand the situation they are in. They’re just treating it as a joke.

Not saying they are home run perfect transfers but funny that Enrique doubled down on this philosophy even further in the summer by selling Ramos & Barcola (who occupy specific zones) for Ferran & Akliouche/Godts who are more multi-zone footballers.
I think this video should get sent into space it should outlive us all and be a memory of who we were

Sempre acreditei que o físico delimita teto, e que este é o grande fator diferencial, já que ele é genético.

The downside of asking... you hear 'no' and try again later.
The upside of asking... you hear 'yes' and your entire life changes.
No ask? No get.
Steve Jobs on how to get what you want in life:
“I’ve never found anybody that didn’t want to help me if I asked them for help. … I’ve never found anyone who said no or hung up the phone when I called. I just asked. Most people never pick up the phone and call. Most people never ask. That’s what separates sometimes the people that do things from the people that just dream about them.”

If you are unemployed and looking for remote roles in Africa, try InclusivelyRemote.com

You will thank me later😌.
Being unemployed will have you cycling through trying quick money hustles, considering starting a business, applying for jobs, crashing out, and staring at the ceiling. You find yourself envying people who seem to have it figured out on social media, reworking your resume yet again, and feeling guilty about not being anywhere in life. Not to mention feeling embarrassed because you've asked for help more than ever before in your life, only to pray and do the whole cycle again the next day.
