Whatever you do, remember: The journey is the reward! Embrace the ups and downs because they're part of the journey. Like working out: if you only focus on the end goal, you'll lose interest. Stay consistent and committed to reach your goals.

Seen this on r/ProgrammerHumor some time ago. Guess, I'm not the only one who can relate? 😂

Just read this: "Debugging is like being a detective in a crime movie where you are also the murderer." 😂

Need pricing inspiration? Look to the grandmasters: Blizzard is offering WoW (including Classic) for a flat fee, no tiers, all-inclusive. Choose from 1-, 3-, or 6-month durations. It's simple and straightforward, as easy as it gets.

Talking about payment processors, I've seen a lot of different threads in here advocating or complaining about the one or the other. Which one do you prefer? Tell us why 😊 #buildinpublic (Did I miss any other big ones)?

Integrating OpenAI API into our aws Lambda + API Gateway sls stack was a challenge. GPT didn't always deliver within the hard 30s timeout limit of the API GW. The solution: We migrated the GPT components to use websocket communication and it works like a breeze. #buildinpublic

We boosted our landing page with a slick Blog integration using @contentlayerdev on our Next.JS + Tailwind Stack. It only took around 25 lines of code to set up and the results are amazing! Check it out for yourself 😊 👉 sicross.com/blog/podcast-pre…

You can be a developer with 10+ years experience, but putting a "g" flag on your regex where none should be, will still cost you days of debugging 🤦‍♂️ fml

Been exploring Postgres Row-Level-Security lately, and I have mixed feelings. Shifting some logic to the DB makes coding the backend easier. However, testing RLS policies feels like a pain. Any #indiehackers have experience using RLS productively? #buildinpublic

Ugh, had to manually sign up today instead of breezing in with Sign in with Google. #IndieHackers keep in mind: easy onboarding is key 🔑

There is only a single reason for doing an all-nighter: production being down! Some arbitrary deadline certainly is not. ok ok, there might be a second reason: doing a @ProductHunt launch 🤓

We are running our production workloads completely on aws serverless for @sicrosscom Since we're not that happy with aws Aurora serverless, we were exploring alternatives. One that stood out to me is @supabase. So wanted to share some of my findings on here 👨‍💻👇

The analysis is still lacking an in-depth view on scaleability and monitoring! Anyone in here got experience on that topic with Supabase? I would expect it to scale out of the box, but haven't tried yet.

In a nutshell: aws Aurora Serverless doesn't really feel serverless and also doesn't integrate well with their other serverless offerings. On the flip side, Supabase offers awesome dev experience and seems like the smart choice for SQL in a serverless world!
