had an incredible experience using the @_ohmjs editor (ohmjs.org/editor/) to design a grammar yesterday the massive variation in experience doing it this way, with rich continuous feedback, vs just through plain text, is inspirational

@_ohmjs has been a pleasure to use. The online editor, ability to ignore whitespace and unify tokenization with parsing makes writing grammars a breeze.

I’m using @_ohmjs here, and in 100 lines of code and a few hours, i was able to create a fully featured markdown+ transpiler to html. Honestly unbelievable.
Me: *Has written one blog post* Also me: I will create my own parser from scratch so I can create my own markdown-like format. This is absolutely necessary if I am to continue writing blog posts. Ugh. Incapacitated by indecision.
