something like this is the difference between a 12LPA job and like a 60LPA + job
and if you think of it the effort that went in here is not that much compared to the return the person might be getting (not in terms of the thing that this video was easy to make- it was not + a lot of thought has gone into this clearly, it is beautifully made) but if you start at like 12 LPA salary, getting to 60lpa would take you forever, but if you do some extra effort before starting you'll be able to reach there faster
to get results others aren't you've to do things others aren't. try standing out
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer.
And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety.
Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight.
So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 馃挅
Hiring? My DMs are open.

you being not here is a risk,
risk of me being diabetic and dead

1000% agree with everything @mathurahravi talks about in this post
- "Posting my thoughts online has made me much more visible: it鈥檚 led to people DM-ing me who鈥檝e become my close friends (...), or put me back on the radar of existing friends who reach out to catch up."
-"DM people you find interesting. Ask them to get coffee, go on a walk, or grab dinner. Or hosting something semi-frequently makes this much lower stakes - you can invite someone you鈥檝e met recently or want to get to know better to one of your gatherings to bring them into your world."
- "Improve your inputs. Put yourself in rooms where you're exposed to more people, ideas, and information. Do interesting things that increase opportunities for alpha. Follow people whose work you admire. Read things outside your immediate field"

until they put a chip in our brains, context + taste + high agency will be the human edge in the age of AI.

Okay, so matrix multiplication on silicon isn鈥檛 thinking, but the flow of sodium ions through protein channels embedded in a lipid bilayer is?
Why do materialists turn to animist reasoning when the substrate is carbon-based instead of silicon?

people are starting to realize.
there *are* no moats left. the only true moat in existence was intelligence, and now that's out of the equation.

Stop being good and learn to be genuine
Genuine people make mistakes and fuck up and still get back up tbh, idk why people are obsessed with appearing good like we all possess darkness within us
You are not the good person you think you are.
You have ghosted someone who loved you. You have laughed at someone's pain. You have said "I am fine" when you were not. You have let someone down gently when they needed you to stay.
You are not evil. But you are not innocent either.
Stop performing goodness. Start practicing honesty. Look at the mess you made. Clean it up. That is the only redemption.

but also don鈥檛 keep doing the same thing that doesn鈥檛 work
Ask questions, adjust, iterate, and most people would do well to do it at a higher velocity
