A Ruffed Grouse pauses while feeding on crab apples. The red and green combo gives this image the look of Christmas in October. Three decades ago I planted the evergreens, and more recently the crab apple trees, thus providing food and cover for grouse and other wildlife.

One way these polls are gamed is, when Mamdani first ran, they asked respondents if they were Jewish. Now they ask if they are *religious* and if so what their religion is, and if they answer Jewish they are counted. This conveniently removes secular Jews from the polling sample
