ALT Slide 6: Text reads-If society was fully accessible and people were more understanding of autistic traits, I wouldn't need to disclose that I am autistic so often. People would be accepting of who I am and they would take time to understand what I am communicating without judgement. It feels like the onus is always on disabled people to ask for help, to explain our traits, when in fact the responsibility should be on non- disabled people too, to make spaces accessible and to be understanding of difference.
